True for me, too, but not so much with cashews. Instead, I have a weakness for macadamia nuts (especially if they’re salted), pistachios, almonds, and salted, roasted peanuts. If I decide to splurge, I try to cap it at 2 ounces, but even that is way too much.

If you're having trouble losing weight and especially that belly fat, get into calorie counting. There are some good apps that allow you to easily keep track of what you eat. You can even scan products for a quick addition of a food to your daily total. Once you start calorie tracking you see where the big calories are. Most people have no idea about how many calories they consume. Feeling hungry in the evening and before you go to bed is not a bad thing.

Strawberries are my life hack. I used to hate strawberries as a kid, but now for some reason I LOVE them. Even if they are sour you can just add stevia and they become like candy. They are expensive, but for me it's SO SO worth it.

Chickpea pasta is pretty good. I cook it for the longest recommended time which makes a difference. So much protein. Makes you feel better about making the decision of eating it. You're a good man.

Strawberries have become my absolute go to when I am having a snack craving. I know I can snack on a handful of them, kill my craving to snack, and it's basically a free snack the calories are so low.

eating mainly plants is the way to go. Especially things like berries and other fruit that isn't dried. Dried fruit is healthy too but sometimes you'll end up eating more to feel full because its smaller in size. Pairing some berries with oats and mixing that with protien powder? It can go a long way in keeping you full until the next meal.

A xashew contains 8-9 callries so it will take more than 50+ of them to make 500. Plus strawberries 100 gm is 32 calories. So it will take much nore than a kilo to make 500. Recheck buddy

Fun fact you absorb less calories from whole nuts than it says on the package (compared to other foods). Some of the pieces remain whole and undigested so the calories are locked in there and you poop them out

When comparing dried fruits vs regular, it really shows that so much of fruits and veggies are just water, hence the low calorie count. That’s why iceberg lettuce is literally only 105 calories for a whole head and regular servings are basically 0 calories.

No, mango is very healthy and calorie friendly! However, dried fruit (including dried mango) is a lot more calorie dense than its “non-dried” counterpart e.g. there’s a lot more calories in 100g of dried mango than 100g of normal mango 👌

@@jclarkefitness You should show some of the tiniest portions, like 500 calories of cheesecake, Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, butter, and ranch dressing. VS 500 calories of celery. Also, a huge one, 500 calories of 96/4% burger patties vs 500 calories of 70/30% burger patties. And 500 calories Hebrew National 97/3% hot dogs vs regular hot dogs (would be about 11 of the Hebrew National 97% fat free full sized hot dogs vs 3 regular dogs)

there are no unhealthy fruits. dried fruits are more calorie dense though because you have removed the water. if you are on a diet, you want to stick with the non dried varieties.
