That is very fair, as it takes a good long time to get to the battleships indeed. However, most recent events have had battleships (including the event starting tomorrow which has the battlecruiser HMS Renown) so if you justtt want a battleship to have fun in I would recommend giving a shot at grinding an event for one. I have the event battleship IJN Haruna and it is very nice being in a big hulking battleship, absolutely tanking incoming fire and devastating cruisers with big gun salvos lol

Naval is awesome but unplayable without premium, since i have 1 german bs u get even with about 5-7 kills with the repair

Yeah it is very discouraging facing entire teams of premium heavy cruisers that can scuttle anything I am in with just 3-4 salvos while I often can only hope to damage them a decent bit in return (with 10 salvos or more). The fact that some countries get premium heavy cruisers while others only get prem light cruisers (at the same BR with the same RP and SL earning stats so there's nothing to make up for the lesser firepower of the light cruiser) can get really annoying really quickly, even with a full loadout like mine. The HMS Belfast is definitely only really worthwhile if you either A: LOVE British ships more than any other, and / or B: You have already made some progress in the tech tree and already know how British cruisers feel to play. One great thing about World of Warships is their balancing system. Each team will always have the same number of battleships, heavy cruisers, light cruisers and destroyers. While that only works with a 1-spawn system it does provide for a nice environment for gameplay. I still like WT naval tho, it is at least still better than it was 2-3 years ago with the old aiming systems and whatnot

WoW seems to do naval much better service, different ship classes on the same maps, actual balancing not the 'realism' that gaijin adheres to on a (financial) whim etc. But I've only got a limited amount of time and have already invested (sacrificed) a lot into WT so I guess I'll cling onto a pipe dream of a proper naval rework and scream into a pillow in the meantime.

@@Panopod The next thing they could do to make me very happy would be changing the maps so that 1 reserve PT boat capping a point 15 seconds into the match doesn't result in a surefire victory for that team (due to the caps bleeding tickets so quickly none of the cruisers can really even make it in time to cap another point)

5.7 naval can be fun as long as it’s not the situation I was facing in this video though to be fair, but entire teams of premium heavy cruisers VS entire teams of light cruisers is no good whatsoever lol

Unless you are in a Prinz Eugen, those mfs get 4k-7k naval damage per game half the time I swear

@@trivixni435 Now in all fairness that is over exaggerated a bit lol but yeah; with how much armor they have and how hard their guns hit (same deal with the US premium cruisers) they can absolutely devastate when played properly. One of the single best ships at 5.7 and genuinely half of every team is composed of them bc premium and very good lol
