Too many trucks not enough freight, until the fleet reduces, or volumes increase low prices will continue.

Running solo, that is pretty decent. Look into haz mat tanker. I know a local guy hauling propane from the terminal to a factory that gets $6k per week to run 200 miles a day round trip. Paid for 1994 Peterbuilt and the company own the trailer.

Best of luck to you Cash, i learned alot from your videos. I cashed a truck 2019 cascadia drove it for 7 mo, made ok money. 4 mo ago i parked it and have been driving for .70c per mile hazmat lots of drop n hook. I got lucky didnt get any crazy breakdown so i got out on top at the moment. Just really wanted to say thanks for the straight cash advice and glad i never fell in to the lease purch game lolololol

@michaelglenning5107 105 power unit outfit out of IL not Chicago. I started with them, you have to work your way up to the pay. They have a hiring freeze atm for seasoned drivers , they are looking for good candidates that are new cdl non haz .52cpm they pay for your school too. Good drivers that will grow with them i believe

I've noticed the Minneapolis craigslist has ads needing owner ops for end and belly dump. Power only with wet line. They provide the traIler and everything else. I'm thinking about going up with my camper. You know anyone doing this? Rates seemed pretty good. Does the high unionization rate up there, drive rates up for non union and owner ops?

Economy is not in the garbage. Everybody else is doing OK except trucking. Every business has raised their price except trucking. In an inflation cycle that's a death sentence.

Rates are bad , only Canada no money to make croasong the border at the moment is where is the money, Well 4 months ago i was doing good but now i dont know about now but seeing loads , again crossong th border is way better. Hey cash I have been driving around 2 and a 1/2 years I know a company that has a walk away lease and my friend works there and gets good consistent miles, he's been there over a year. any advice on switching from company to lease for the first time I'm going to pop my cherry can you sweet talk me into it or out of it please, I have kids and just bought a house anything I need to watch out for switching to lease? thank you love the channel sir.

Be patient and save your money don’t just jump in head first especially if you have kids and just bought a home.. you don’t want to “buy” yourself a job because that’s exactly what you’ll be doing with a lease purchase.. especially in this market

@@Zugzzzwang yeah I get it man it's risky I've seen his pay stubs so I know the miles are there I'd imagine that's one of the biggest things right? and it being a walk away lease I can just go get my old job back if say something breaks that I cant afford to fix.

@@jeffdp8441 DON"T DO IT!!! When the economy gets worse the company will give the freight to their cheaper drivers, not you. There's no such thing as a walk-away lease. Sounds like the newest company lie... don't fall for it!

@@jeffdp8441 nah their never walk away.. I would really suggest to watch Blue ribbon logistics bro. They give great advice for first time owner operators. There’s no need to rush getting into business.. save 30-40k and buy an older truck and find a good carrier to lease on to. Don’t start off with debt it’s a pipe dream bro.. I want to be an owner operator so bad but I’m just saving as much as I can.. trying to save 300-500 a week making about 1050 after taxes.. it’s a patience game but in about 3-4 years I’ll be ready to go.. buy a 10-20k truck and put in about 20-30 to fix it up and my plan is to go to landstar
