This matchless house was built for Arnold Swartznegar, but spurned by him when the city of Yorba Linda refused to let him build a helicopter heliport on the property. So it was then bought by man & wife doctors. But now recently demolished by new purchaser who plans to build a different house there.

The new house has been under construction for a well over a year.. i live up there and i can guarantee you the new house (which is almost done) is different than this one being shown. Edit) the house got torn down in dec of 2019.. its online if you wana see it. The new home is massive though.. 30000 sqft and it makes the neighbors 8000k look tiny haha

I was in the neighborhood today (1/12/2020)and thought I would stop by and look a this house up close. When I arrived to the front gate the whole house has been demolished, just a few steel bars standing. Even the tennis court and basket ball court is demolished. rubble everywhere!!!

Wow really? Guess that explains why it's still on google earth, but google maps shows a couple of bulldozers and other construction equipment. I thought that google maps was somehow outdated and showed pictures from the houses construction

I drive the 91 saying wow that house looks like a college or museum. Admiring from afar. I’m disappointed by the interior. But man that’s a huge house on a hill if I ever saw one.

My brothers and I went up to see it after it was demolished and left vacant. We could see it on top of the hill from our house. It took a while and we walked some parts but it was crazy. There were graffiti swastikas everywhere and bullets on the ground and just a creepy mess. I got chills in there.

@alex c no, this house was so terrible that it sat on the market for five years. It was finally sold last year for $9 million, which is how much the land itself is worth... So someone took a $10 million loss on this home. That's just how bad it was.

This house was originally being built for Arnold Schwarzenegger when he was Governor, but he backed out of the deal last minute because Yorba Linda would not let him put a heliport on the property. A friend's parents lived down the hill from here. The house was hideous.

WOW. too much house but can appreciate it's beauty. 12 yr old daughter asked what is that as we drive by every other week, told her to google it by using the street and fwy. iPhone couldn't. told her I'd look for it on laptop. "Lo and Behold" reading some of the comments that Arnold Schwarzenegger built or lived there will tickle her fancy. Yep she's a fan. when she finally saw him recently her little heart broke "my arnold, he's old !?" "awww poor thing" LOL she's caught up on all the terminator movies, his other movies too. Maybe we'll drive up to the house to see it from the outside. i Like, OLE!
