By forcing air into the engine's cylinder at a higher pressure than the surrounding atmosphere (with Forced Induction for example), you are also effectively increasing the amount of air the engine can "displace". Therefore, increasing displacement. More displacement = more work being done = more power :)

obviously you don't own an evo ix! the gas has some sort of delay from the moment you stop pushing the pedal and the gas actually not being pumped into the motor. that's totally normal for the evo IX. Either you always let of the gas a little bit earlier before pushing the cluth or you shift faster or you just live with it. when shifting faster you don't really notice it. :)

I will have to talk to the owner and see what exhaust combination he had during filming, but I can't promise anything since he changes his setup often. He has a Twin-Turbo setup this year and made some big changes to the exterior as well. We might be doing another video once it's out of storage. - Mike

MK Film Productions Really? Thank you very much! Cool, I use a T2i. You seem to have some nice lenses cus' the quality of this video is superb. Camera work is splendid, too. May I ask what software you're editing with?

For this video and all my previous ones I've been using Sony Vegas due to the easy workflow, but Adobe Premiere is what i'm slowly switching over to. There's more potential for editing and of course After Effects compatibility. The lenses I used were actually the Nifty Fifty 50mm, Tokina 11-16mm, and the kit lens. Nothing too expensive hehe.

MK Film Productions Funny, I used Sony Vegas earlier too, but I have now switched to Preimiere. I really like the way your video looks. I'm really struggling with the color correction. I shoot with cinestyle (flat picture style) for further post processing, but the outcome is usually worse than shooting with auto due to lack of knowledge in color correcting... Anyways, do you recommend the Tokina 11-16?

Heck yes on the Tokina, best investment ever made IMO. Also try out Magic Bullet Looks, helps a ton with Color Grading. Simple interface, quick learning curve, and lots of presets. The footage should still look great in Cinestyle, if you're exposing properly that is. On the Histogram I usually stay to the left bank as much as possible (But still stay away from the left edge). Shadows seem to be easier to bring back to life than highlights if you're at a low ISO.

idk about the diffuser but the bumper is the jdm version. so since the mounting is different then it would probably be a diffuser for the jdm bumper

You be surprise professionals used two hands on the wheel... Subjective for you in terms of Raging hormones. Try this on your next touge runs (mountain runs) and try one hand drive vs two hand drive into those turns at 45 mph to 60 mph and see which keeps your car from swaying more. Two hand drive is better at keeping your car more stable from bumps and weight shifting than one hand drive.
