Superb video Guys, just a quick question, could you also explain the difference between mortgage agent and underwriter and does underwriter also work on comm basis on do they get salary?

In short what I understood is that an underwriter is a person that would do all the backend paper work, verifying all facets of the application for both lender/borrower ensuring compliance while the mortgage agent is the licensed professional under a brokerage arranging the best possible mortgage product from various lenders for the borrower.

Generally speaking (and the rolls can change a bit) but the Mortgage Agent serves more as the sales person and the client relationship manager while the U derwriter focuses more on documents, compliance and Lender relationships
