today we are installing a 50CC GY6 BIG INTAKE KIT | Worth it?
We show you what kit we bought to make this intake kit complete and also some things you have to make or modify to actually get it to work on a 50cc. this kit is made for a 150 cc or a 80cc BBK. But knowing us... we test the limits on our 50cc engine.

Keep up the good work kid this is Steve from Annapolis Maryland I got a AmStar 150 I got the biggest camshaft you can put in the GY6 a15 camshaft and I got a high performance cylinder head with stainless steel valves and a header and a jetted carburetor I'll keep an eye on you like the office get together keep up the good work

I had to upjet to an 82 jet from a 78 when i got this pipe along with a Uni filter. I might check the spark plug and see if i still need to upjet but on my 50cc I used one of the starter bolts that’s on the actual starter itself to bolt up the bracket that came with the kit and it supports it great that way you dont need to mount it with zip ties. Just be careful not to strip the head on it. I might upjet again to an 85. This pipe added a TON more power and torque when i added it.

I’m definitely tuning my scooter and that’s what’s up he brought your filter back as well we both from the same place but im in Vegas now but keep up the videos I been watching a lot of em tonight

I'm glad running just the stiffer clutch springs worked for you . These scooters are shipped with various main jets. I've bought ones that had 78 mains stock. I think with an open filter element and high flowing exhaust you could go even bigger, like an 80-82. 75-76 sounds excessively lean to me

When you order the carb and it comes with that cone filter, you can rip off the rubber boot from the old filter. For those of you without a 3D printer now that is your adapter to the intake tube. I saw this video after i ordered the parts and was like wtf mate. Now I would maybe recommend taking the carb out as to make those 2 boots fit on is bit hard to force on, I was going from the side though. And after installed I went by one of those speed limit signs with the radar display it said i was going 41 might of been going downhill as well slightly as I don't think I hit that top speed the other way. Was surprised when i seen it looked at the speedo an it said 47 not that off. 2020 Wolf V50 800miles

you could also just wrap electrical tape around the filter port until it's big enough

I ordered a set of main jets and they came and were too big to fit on the carb, i have a 20mm carb and i ordered 5mm main jets and there too big to fit on the main jet, what size do i need to order so i can fix mt bike up. thank you

How do the variator weights work? Is it lighter weights=quicker take off but lower top speed And heavier weights= slower takeoff but higher top speed?

Hey you guys should try a 60cc big bore kit that Amazon have for 25 dollars and see how the scooter runs after

The 80cc /72cc kit works awesome, has plenty torque and power to climb hills and keep up with traffic. 40mph is normal cruising speed now and maxed out at 55mph going downhill of course. Its very easy to install with just a few basic handtools, and a feeler gauge and torque wrench. Install was about hour and a half. Well worth $50 from amazon. I got the glixal 69mm valve head and glixal 47mm cylinder kit, it screams now. I also use a 24mm carb and open cone filter,advanced the timing and ported the crap out of the restricive head, removed egr, 1500# clutch sprngs, glixal variator 5gr rollers for now but may go heavier later to keep the power in the band. No tach to really tune it yet so just going by ear,speed, and spark plug inspections. I bought a four pack of plugs, so i could change them out after every upjet until it was perfect.

You could buy just the cylinder kit and keep your old head, it has a smaller combustion chamber tho and will increase compression and make it harder to start. A local shop quoted $25 just to mill it from 39.6mm 47mm, do I just bought the 47mm head.

Can you install a bigger intake and bigger carb on just a 50cc without adding a big bor kit I've already replaced high performance clutch and variator with 4.5 slider weights I'm not really trying to get 60 MPH out of it but I'm trying to hit 50 to 55 please some let me know

We could give it a shot to see what happens. I think it would work with proper tuning but It might not add any performance. I am going to look around and see if I can find a 20mm carb or something.

Put the stock spark plug coil wire , plug and cdi back on if you upgraded those , those so called proformance mods rob you of power...

yes but it doesn't make any sense. you don't need a bigger carb. i've run a 80cc big bore kit on the stock carb, you just need to jet it right.

They probably vary. Ours were 6 or 6.5 I think

Don't waste $ on air intake, utilize stock rubber air box tube then bolt on Temu carbon fiber vortex air filter,(universal.)

@@throttle_therapy I'd probably recommend just a basic 2 stroke like a honda dio, or a chinese one like the jet basix 50 from sym even though they're a bit old.

@@NamejsZV that's actually what we are looking for exactly lol. There isn't many around us for sale either unfortunately so we will have to travel to get one. But I'd guess we are a month or so away from getting one.. we also just purchased another toy to make content with. But that video is coming next week. It's not a scooter but it's pretty sick.
