What is your favorate star and why? As a teacher what messages are you trying to give to your students in your classes?

Not a question, but, I have been into astronomy a long time. Was about 13 when I got my first telescope. Built one when I was 20. Mirror and all. Am no 70! Love your channel!

Thank you for your channel and its content. You are a very accomplished educator. Astronomy and astrophysics are fascinating realms. It's very humbling to realize nature has evolved us from hydrogen atoms. Question: What is your opinion about the "stories" (mythology) that go with some of the constellations? For the Greek culture that produced Archimedes, Plato, Pythagoras and many other profound thinkers, stories like Cassiopeia and Andromeda just seem like lame soap operas not worthy of consideration let alone being immortalized in the night sky. What are your thoughts on this? Would you rather see other stories associated with the stars and constellations, perhaps something more upbeat and inspirational?
