Eva from YourUkraine contacted me about an amazing property for sale that sounded too good to be true. She didn't tell me many details, but hearing "$55 000 in city centre Kyiv, 73 sq.m." I knew that this would be an incredible deal that I just had to see for myself. What I didn't realize until I got there however, was that this was a government foreclosure and that we would have to bribe a state bank employee to even look at the unit...watch the full video for all of the details.

I know a man that wanted a property that the owner wasn’t that enthusiastic about selling. It was on a river. He got himself invited over. There is a saying in the UK, 'If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is'. Why would a bank sell it so cheaply, when one of their own, could buy it cheaply, and sell it for a quick profit (flip it), probably doubling their money.

Actually, she is wrong about the lack of armament in Ukraine. After the dissolution of the Soviet Union, Ukraine was one of the most heavily armed republics. Of course, the corrupt regime have sold most of the weapons during the independence, but even during the so-called "war with Russia" (except the Russians still haven't come to the war...), as the Kyiv regime's propaganda puts it, the regime haven't bothered to produce any genuine weapons of their own. I guess they still haven't even built an ammunition factory, as the only ammunition factory Ukraine had is now in Lugansk, which is not controlled by the Kyiv regime.
@esuil

@@johngalt1448 How can you say that "Russians haven't come to the war" when Russia now considers Crimea part of its borders? How shameless can you be. It is true that there is lot of BS propaganda going on on either side, but to deny involvement of Russia like that is either delusional or intentionally pushing for Russian propaganda instead. If you really are against brainwashing and propaganda as you are saying, you would be skeptical of propaganda of BOTH sides, not selectively on Ukrainian part only.

@@johngalt1448 lol, you are either a Russian bot, or just not very smart. Nice! In the Kiev it's like Prague in the 1990's, only probably better you have better amenities, restaurants etc. 55,000 now you can't even buy a parking space for that in PRG. Get in while you can. I remember you could buy a whole house (villa) here in Prague for around 60,000USD or 75,000DM back in the early or mid 90's or an aparment like that where you just were for around 20-30,000USD sort of away from the center. But back then foreigners were not allowed to buy unless you were investing in the country, own business employ people etc. Yea, those 50,000USD villas are costing well over 1 million Euros now and those little 30K apartments are fetching 300,000Euros. Enjoy your channel , maybe I'll run into you and Bald here in Prague one day I heard he lives here but still have not seen him. He probably hangs out in Prague 4 near Kacerov, Krc, maybe Haje where you are reminded of Czech's Soviet past. I only get out there once or twice a year when I have visitors and we want to get a little nostalgic for the past. I was just recently in the US for a few months after 6 years. Tried some overpriced Vietnamese in the states. It was nasty. We have way more better Vietnamese food here in Prague, amongst other things. Maybe one day come and check that place out myself. So how do the other costs you see in the US work in Kyiv? Like if I bought a condo in the US, you have to also pay property maintenance fees for maintenance of all of the interior spaces (which can be up to $700+ a month in higher end apartment complexes that include pools, gyms, parking valet, concierge services, etc) and property taxes (which can be thousands of dollars a year as well.) How much do you have to pay for building maintenance? Are property taxes even a thing?
@JohnnyFD

It's less than $50-$100 a month here, including property taxes.

Of course customer service is atrocious. The sales Chic bears some responsibility for the mess and Johnny should have labeled this video, "Avoid this Bank". Otherwise another great video revealing entrenched soviet business techniques. Quality should be job one, in every aspect!

A 10-15$ bottle.of red wine is perfectly fine. Also, I don't understand why so many people choose Scotch over Bourbon. A good 4+ year Bourbon is so much more interesting. And the ladies find the underlying sweet caramel profile much more appealing than the spicy smokiness of scotch, if you can get them to try it. Every girl I've dated past the age of 30 has become a bourbon drinker and it's something to have on common, going to a bar to sip bourbons. None of them liked scotch. I do like scotch I just find bourbon far more interesting.

Government clerks who are in charge of showing the property are not interested in selling anything . They don’t get any % , just their usual salary. A bribe would ve made a difference !!!
