55 Gallon Steel Drum Implodes| The Crushing Power Of The Atmosphere

7 жыл бұрынIn this video I show you how you can use the weight of the atmosphere to crush things. I explain why we don't normally feel the pressure of the atmosphere on us. Then I show how you can remove the inner pressure of a soda can in order to allow the atmospheric pressure to crush the can and implode it. I then take it up a notch and collaborate with Davey and April to use the atmosphere to crush a 55 gallon steel drum! It is nothing short of amazing to watch a 55 gallon steel drum implode! The 55 gallon steel drum implosion looks similar to the soda can except it is thick steel!

A steam engine injects steam to push the piston down, then injects water to condense the steam. Maybe you could rig a barrel with a spray nozzle inside

that wasn't atmosphere presure weight , this happend due to the temperature diffrence , and the nature of water and vapor . hot air expands , cool air contracts , the engine in a car works due to the expantion that is created via the ingition . old engines used steam for the same principle , (expantion) to see this in action look up stirling engine . they use no fuel but only air and temperature diffrences to work
