That tool is awesome I wish it were narrated in Spanish I have some friends in Mexico that are in the tire business and this would be perfect for them. Great video I'll try and explain it to them

On a pc anyone can get captions for all of my videos in a lot of languages in the tools button in the lower right corner. I looked at the Spanish translations on my videos before and it was a good translation. I do speak, read and write Spanish but a bit broken, I don't do videos in Spanish for only about 2 or 3 percent of my viewers but they can see the captions or write their questions to me in Spanish. Yeah buddy, I've done a truck tire or two in my day. We did everything with the tire hammer. Few times I got to use one of those tire stations. Got pretty damn good at it.

just a heads up Gordon, I use a Milwaukee 3/4 which is about half as big but appears more powerful than the 1 inch. they're about $425 without the battery but they are excellent for truck wheels

I have 2 of those, 1 in my truck and the other in my shop. I think I used 1 in this video with an extended socket on it. They're not as strong as the 1" but the mechanic at my job may have put those wheels on and he overtightens a lot of things with his air 1" drive.

Once you get the first bead off, balance it evenly on the rim. Work the Golden tool down towards the second easily. once you make contact give the bar a quick downward shove and the two legs will pop under bottom bead!

I wondered if marking the rim and tire at the balance weights may have kept the wheel balanced since it was just spinning the tire around. Easy for me to armchair quarterback. I imagine balancing those might be a few bucks.

Don't those steer tires have arrows to make sure you run them the same direction at all times??

I hated it when my old boss would see uneven wear on the steer tires of the bin trucks. They run 425/65R22.5 tires they are a bitch to dismount and mount. The overseas brand tires like Sailun have thick, heavy beads. You can get a little more life rotating the steers. A 425 tire is 1200 dollars each.

Yes they are expensive and need to try to balance the wear on them to get the most out of them.

I have the Milwaukee 1” tire gun love it did you know that you can change the power settings on your phone that gun has lug nut mode and you can crank power up to 1900 ft lb

I don't think there's much contact with the outside of the rim, I think a rag on the work area should be enough.

Milwaukee is the red neck version of Malaya, Maritsa are a bit more expensive, but you will never have the troubles like you have with a Milwaukee lol.
