Perhaps the most gracious pro wrestler in history. He had no gimmick other than being haughty and obnoxious, but when he gave a promo you thought he'd follow it up with a pop quiz.

And consider THIS: In 1977 Bruiser Brody went into the WWE, got into a scuffle with Gorilla Monsoon, had a problem putting over BRUNO (It was well known how WWE worked, they brought in heels, built them and fed them to Bruno....So what's the problem?!?) Bruiser got thrown out, in comes Hansen and break's Bruno's NECK!.....Was Stan Hansen THAT BAD?! That he couldn't throw a clothesline without breaking the top stars NECK?!....The excuse is always "He's blind, he can't see without his glasses, what a convenient excuse. Oh, and Hansen was brought back ONCE after the neck incident, to put over Bruno, Brody? Never again. And by the way, you don't break someone's neck with a "working" clothesline, just like you don't poke out someone's eye with your thumb when you can tell on film he's aiming for it, by accident. Bruiser was hooked up with Buck Robbley who was a carny's carny....Yeah, those two are "celebrated" a lot more than they deserve to be. BOTH guys screwed Verne Gagne BIG TIME! The NWA tended to avoid them, especially after the Luger cage incident, which let me say had nothing to do with Bruiser screwing the promotion and everything to do with Bruiser screwing every wrestler in that locker room trying to feed his family. So much is made about Bruiser "Just trying to feed his family" but he never gave a sh!t about anyone else's. Oh, and what tough guys! I've never heard about them beating anyone up unless it was in a WORKED match where they were suppose to be putting on a show. They used it as an excuse to ACTUALLY hurt the other guy...Wow! What bad-asses. Bruiser Brody, and yes, I'm going to say it, was totally consumed with greed, selfish interests, and enjoyed hurting others when he had them in a disadvantageous position. Bruiser Brody was an evil man. And bad things happen to evil men....Also, according to the Ultimate Warrior, Brody was always trying to scam meals, hotel rooms, rides from the other wrestlers. But if someone needed a quarter for the Coke machine he would tell them to "F%$k off"....What a great guy.....Do I think he deserved to be stabbed? I don't know because I don't know what happened in that shower before he was stabbed. Brody had already smacked Gonzalez earlier that week over a finish. Did Gonzalez deserve to be assaulted for doing his job? Would YOU take that? From a 6'6 300lbs man who had no problem beating you over some fake storyline stuff? Or whatever you do at your job? Say one of your employees physically beat you when you asked him to do his job? There are two sides to every story and the canonization of Brody is just out of control, he was NOT a "Great guy"

I have the utmost respect for Nick Bockwinkel but he doesn't know shit on what happened to Bruiser Brody in Puerto Rico especially when he says Brody got shot. Not cool.
