The VFD-1P-220.240-3P-5HP-17A-DCM offers accurate AC motor control in industrial facilities. This 3.7kw unit is compatible with single-phase input and three-phase output 220-240V AC voltage, provides an output current of 17 amps and an operating frequency range of 0 to 400 Hz. This device has a V/F control mode and sensorless vector control mode with an interior PID controlled, automatic energy save running to optimize the V/F curve, an automatic voltage regulator and automatic current limiting.
This unit offers thermal protection to the connected motor, depending on the applicable protective value requirements. For proper protection, the operator must provide the correct setting sensitivity of thermal relay protection, between a range of 20% and 200%. This feature is not available when one device drives multi-motor in linkage running. For such requirements, a thermal relay is needed for each motor input terminal for protection.
The VFD-1P-220.240-3P-5HP-17A-DCM is designed for indoor applications and operating temperatures ranging between -10°C to +40°C. Operators may mount the VFD phase converter on compatible surfaces. This device measures 7.24" x 3.85" x 5.31" and weighs approximately 8.8 lbs.
