The water dirtiness meter is not a direct measure of dirty-ness, it is just a measure of salinity, if you had clean water and you put a ton of salt in it, then it would measure very high, but if you had water without a high salt content, but with a lot of germs and bacteria in it, it could not measure it, you would need an industry grade ATP meter, so please DONT rely on this to tell you if water is good or not as this might pickup metals and salts in water but not harmful bacteria.

while the remote-operated door opener might work, I would advise you to use a method of securing the bolt in place on the opposite end of the motor, and probably get rid of the bolt altogether because it will wear down quite easily, use a worm gear connected to a small gear on the lock instead, they are designed for such applications

@LyricalViking
@LyricalViking Жыл бұрын
Not genius, this method will barely charge your phone at all and in order to get any realistic charge you would need to bike for literal hours at a high speed nonstop. It's simply cheaper and cleaner for the environment to buy powerbank or otherwise a rechargeable charger on the go/backup battery,etc. As this device is going to lead to e-waste.

Some of these projects can be [somewhat] dangerous and other will not produce the expected result unless you want to invest more time in testing and design. At the end of the day I praise these people coming up with interesting ideas and sharing it to the world.

*DO NOT ATTEMPT THE DIY SOLDERING IRON:* One of two bad things could happen: 1. the graphite on the pencil could become hot enough to light the wood part of the pencil on fire 2. the 9v battery could overheat and blow up due to you essentially shorting the battery and also I don't think a single 9v battery could have enough sustained amperage to heat up a piece of graphite

for sure soldering wire directly to a battery can be dangerous and then what to do when you need to replace the battery.
@rickytorres9089
@rickytorres9089 3 жыл бұрын
@@kennmossman8701 I am sure it's no more dangerous than completing a circuit. I even had to do it on a brand new APC UPS unit. Where you connect the positive (red) to neutral/ground (black). Just keep your hands always decently on the insulators and provided you completed the circuit completely sparks shouldn't generates.
