Join us as we install a Prinsu roof rack, Cali Raised LED light bar, and an IKamper Skycamp 2.0 on our 4Runner. This setup should help us as we get out on more MTB adventures this summer.

Thanks for the great video, I used the Prinsu mounting hardware... somebody mentioned 2.0 mounting hardware won’t work, advised to use the 1.0.

Do you park your 4Runner in your garage bro with the iKAMPER attached? Or you park outside...

Fortunately, we park under a tall carport. Not sure how tight things will be if we ever end up with a garage.

Right tools for the job. And lots of ppl buy sprinter vans because they don’t have tools or basic knowhow for any kind of trade or crafting. Well done! Question. What’s wind noise like for both the rack alone and when the skycamp is on there?? Thx

Wind noise isn't bad most of the time. You can definitely hear it in windy conditions and high speeds. Thanks for commenting!

I'm seriously considering getting prinsu full rack with ikamper skycamp as well. Could you share more about the mounting mechanism between ikamper to the rack? Also more insights on tips and tools you used?

Hey Andeee, This newer tent comes with what Ikamper refers to as Mounting Brackets 2.0. The system is pretty simple and nice, but there is a consideration when combining it with the Prinsu: the front brackets are really hard to access with a tool. Fortunately for me, my buddy that helped me set it up has a lot of different socket extensions that ended up working. I think we ended up using angled socket extensions plus ball hex bits. It was difficult to get a good torque on the front brackets. The rear brackets are very accessible and easy to torque.

@@JustinVelo gotcha. I was mainly observing for any rear sagging with the RTT but it looks like there isn't any. I'm about to put a 170lb tent on mine and I'm just going to the Bilstein 5100 with airlift 1000 in the rear. Just worried about all the weight! 😅
