My fuse shifter cable is routed through a soft hose in the frame. Anybody know if the brake hose is routed through a soft hose? Lost the floss tie during a replacement job.

Just built my 2022 FUSE SPORT 27.5. Took all Specialized stuff off. Added WR1 carbon wheel set. Sram XX1 Cassette, XO1 derailleur, XO1 crankset w/ Sram Dub BB. Sram code RSC brakes. One Up carbon bar w/Chromag stem and Ergon grips. Specialized Power Expert saddle. One Up dropper and remote. Waiting for my Rockshox Pike Ultimate fork in May. Bike rides and handles like a dream.

Beautiful build and video - but confused on one point - Seems you routed the rear brake hose after the BB was installed? Asking because I need to replace the hose on my s works frame. Is there some sort of internal channel?

@@JustinVelo gotcha. I was mainly observing for any rear sagging with the RTT but it looks like there isn't any. I'm about to put a 170lb tent on mine and I'm just going to the Bilstein 5100 with airlift 1000 in the rear. Just worried about all the weight! 😅
@rustler082 жыл бұрын
For future viewers, you want to tighten the upper shock bolt last. The extension should be tightened first prior to install (as shown), then the side with the four spacers, and finally the upper shock bolt.

Surprised to see the 2.8 wide tire fit. How much room was there? Can the chain stays be set to the shortest position with a 2.8 wide 29er tire?
@JustinVelo2 жыл бұрын
Fit with room to spare. I did move the sliding rear dropouts back slightly to allow for the higher volume.
@JustinVelo2 жыл бұрын
I will have to push the dropout forward and see where it becomes an issue. I’ll try to get back to you with the results.
@HissLikeSteam2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for getting back to me. No need to move the dropouts forward, I was just curious. Using 2.8 tires surprised me and was wondering if there were clearance issues. It’s nice to hear there’s room to spare.
