The official selection and jury composition of the 5th Health for All Film Festival (HAFF) announced on 15 April 2024 represent an extraordinary demonstration of creative energy and enthusiasm for telling public health stories! The World Health Organization has attracted about 5000 submissions - both amateur and professional - from more than 110 countries since its first HAFF edition in 2020. This average of 1000 short films per year has been shortlisted to about 60 health stories in 2024 under four competition categories:

During the coming weeks, critically-acclaimed professional artists from the film and music industries, like Sharons Stone, Alfonso Herrera, Nandita Das, Yusra Mardini, Mario Macilau, will review the shortlisted films and recommend winners to WHO’s Director-General, who will make the final decision.
