In this video the 6.0 Bros go over installing a boost gauge to our cts insight 2. Should be the exact same for cts 3 universal sensor kits. Now for Edge CTS Insight 2/3 you will need to purchase their EAS universal sensor input 5v. (See affiliate links below) In this video we will be installing a Edge EAS pressure sensor on our project 6.0 Powerstroke. Our 600hp 6.0 Powerstroke is making more boost than the factory gauge can read. So we are going to run a boost gauge directly into our edge cts insight so we will know exactly what it is doing. The other benefit to this is it can not be manipulated by the tune in the truck so we will always have an accurate reading of boost.

I’m using ITS diesel 100psi map sensor. All you have to do is plug and play it right into your factory location. And have your tuner re scale the gauge reading in the tunes. And boom you have accurate numbers up to 100psi 👌

First he is a good guy. I love what he has done with that. I want to review it in the future. It is a super clean look he has on it too. My only reason for wanting an independent sensor has to do with some tuner manipulating this value, amd I have had this kit sitting around waiting for my truck to come back lol. I'm going to work on getting a back pressure sensor on my truck also this way, but that has more to do with reviewing turbos and wanting values that didn't get through the ecm/pcm. However I do recommend ITS kit as it is one of the best ideas I have seen

@@six0brosfor sure, I have the sct3 myself. The add on kits are pretty pricy 😅 I do have the egt probe though. But gearhead and blessed performance can re write your exiting tunes to the new correct map values. In his kit he gives the new values to give them to run it properly. Both are good options but for an easy clean oe looking set up he’s done an awesome job with that.
