Many kudos to you. Been shooting for 1 year. Been moving my targets further out. You inspired me to try to max out. Just shot 2800 yards out in Syracuse, KS with a stock RPR 6.5 Creedmoor and factory loaded Berger 153.5 gr LRHT ammo. 57.5 mrad elevation. Thanks for showing me this was possible. Will be donating to your channel.

I was finally able to get out and use the Adjustable Bag base I received from you a couple of months ago, it is a dream to use and an absolute work of art! It definitely helped even though I was only plinking at 300 meters. Now I'm just waiting on my Valdada 200MOA base to really push my own 6.5 Creedmoor and .338LM! Thanks again Mark and Sam!

You two are really great, I really like seeing people enjoying their life together and doing something challenging. I will never begin to approach what you two have accomplished, but it's great to see how it's done and learn how it's done, so thanks immensely. My own goal is a mere 1000 yards, which is only beginner stuff, but if I can hit a 24"x24" target one out of ten times at that range I will at least satisfy myself. God bless and keep up the great work and hello from us here in New Mexico.

I love your videos. Ones like this have me laughing when you say things like, "70 mil". I laugh because it's beyond, Wow! for me. I'm surprised you don't load your own ammunition, or have custom dials for your scope that correspond with the specifications of your ammunition with that scope---Leupold makes these. I don't either because I believe manufactured rounds are more constant and reliable than self-loaders would like to admit, but I'm also not trying to shoot 1.7 miles. I shot expert, near perfect on the ranges in the Army and possess no where near the skill level needed to do this. Spotting is more challenging than shooting for me, so great job Sam. I bought a 6.5 creedmoor 2-3 years back and am hoping to hit a mile one day. Thanks for your videos.
@markandsamafterwork
@markandsamafterwork 4 жыл бұрын
Hi Kevin, glad you liked the video, and well, I do hand load, and this ammo is way more accurate the any factory. As for the likes of custom dials, they are not suited to this sort of shooting, more a hunting thing. If you get the chance to see some of the many info videos we do, that will start to make some more sense. As for yours that should work well out to a mile, have fun, Cheers and all the best.

@markandsamafterwork
@markandsamafterwork 5 жыл бұрын
Yes both good, ERA-TAC a little more refined, but Valdada has a lot more adjustment, if needing 40mm rings, Valdada is just a base which means you can put what ever rings, but lots more height in overall setup and ends up with more cost, so depends on your details, Cheers

Good shooting. Good to see you guys pushing the limits of differebt 6.5 projectiles. Do you find berger and sierra's lot to lot consistant? I've had to switch from hornady as they keep making huge changes. Oh and have you managed to try scenar-l 136gr?
@markandsamafterwork
@markandsamafterwork 5 жыл бұрын
Thanks Daniel, no I have not used the Scenar's and I much prefer the Berger for consistency bullet to bullet, way above the others you have mentioned, yes when they retool and start new batch's they all need tweaking in the calculations, so I get a few at a time. Waiting to see if the ATips bring the constancy of bullet to bullet and the actual bc up like they are promising, we'll see, Cheers

@@markandsamafterwork yeah im with you on that. From one tech to another. What i find truly impressive is with all the different reloading videos and vids on youtube, very few actually really "test" their expensive long range bullets at distance to really see if they are stabilized and balanced at long range. My experience has taught me that a small target roughly moa or sub, you really never see what they are truly doing. Large targets hide very well what they are doing. So good on you guys. Keep it up. It helps many who intend to get into this wonderful hobby to select the right projectile and right gear. Oh and why i asked about scenars is because litz and his team are there now so i am curious. I really dont see anyone on youtube shooting these projectiles. Cheers shooters

@@markandsamafterwork Thanks for your reply Mark much appreciated, and can that see the target to 3000 yards, as in Bullet hits? Cheers - Stu

@@markandsamafterwork Who makes the "adjustable scope base". I'm building a 7x300 win mag and this extreme long range shooting looks like fun. Berger makes a excellent bullet. Just bought some 184 gr hybrids to test in my 7 mag.

Loving these 6.5 CM videos. Aside from your mad skills, I’m about to begin shooting a 6.5 CM gas gun, and your experience is welcome. Depending on how it works out, I may build a bolt gun also. As a side note, I think I accidentally hit the Dislike button. Sorry about that. Edited to add that when I hit the Like button, it appears to have negated the Dislike.
