I want an anime where it starts like a harem but the girls eventually realize how boring the main guy is and forms an elite friend group

I hate the harem trope in general but the tropes within the harem I hate are that the male that the harem revolves around is duller than dishwater, the girls in the harem are usually classified as main girl, creepy childhood friend, pervy mature girl and underage girl.

Main Character: *POWER OF FRIENDSHIP* The Villan: Understandable, have a great day

i also dont like how Tsunderes hits or yells at their crush and some howtheir crush still likes them back🤦‍♀️

When i was a kid i always found it weird when the mc would do a magical transformation and the villain just does not do anything for 2 minutes

Personally I like tsunderes as long as they’re written in a way that’s not annoying or drastic. I’d love to see a story about a tsundere that 1) doesn’t make them endlessly insult and assault the love interest, and 2) go into depth about why they hide their feelings and act cold (because honestly who would just act like that for fun? It’s more realistic for it to be derived from trauma of some sort)

There's also a trope that just gets the hell out of me. Girl accidentally bumps into a boy, and IMMEDIATELY FALLS IN LOVE WITH THE BOY SHE BUMPED IN. YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW HIM, MAYBE HE'S A TERRIBLE PERSON!

I love the "girl/boy who have to pretend being the oposite gender" trope.

As a brother with a sister and four stepsisters and a healthy relationship with all of them, I hate how brother/sister relationships in anime are always either super suggestive (i.e. incestuous) or Chernobyl levels of toxicity.

The squealy voices can grind my gears. Another thing that upsets me is the falling down. You know two characters are getting along just great and some stupid secret comes out.

Okay, so here’s the thing about tsunderes: classically, the well written tsundere was supposed to grow out of the traits that made them a tsundere in the first place, which is why the traditional tsundere was cold to everyone else *but* their eventual love interest. A good example is actually a character you’ve probably heard of: if you’ve heard the term “Shana Clone” then you’ve probably seen at least one character of the archetype, or done a lot of research like myself. The term is named after a character from a light novel, I can’t remember the name of it, but I do remember the description of Shana saying that the tsundere traits lessened over time, and that some of more popular ones weren’t very prominent in the first place. However, in modern times there seems to be a gross misunderstanding of writers on what made the tsundere popular in the first place; most of the time, they’re treated as an easy method for comedy, having their more volatile behaviors be played for laughs, while in older examples it seemed to be because they were flawed characters who developed into better, calmer people through the power of love. At least, that’s my theory on it. A light novel/anime that’s following the more classic example in modern times would be Remy from Rokka no Yuusha: in the beginning, she's cold and distrustful of others, and willing to admit that she was previously a serial killer of prior heroes who were supposed to protect humanity from a monster. Because the main lead is the first one to be nice to her and tries his best to protect her when paranoia's running high (think Among Us with an obvious Imposter but with no knowing who they are). This causes Remy to open up and be more trusting of others (or at least the lead). This makes an eventual reveal all the more tragic for the pairing, but it's an interesting take on the tsundere.

Main character: Takes 30 seconds to transform. Villain: Does nothing in that time

Tsundere: "It's not like I like you!" Guy: "ok! Bye!" *leaves* Tsundere: "WAIT COME BACK-" Guy: "you said-"

you forgot the "MC is 17 but looks as if they're 5" trope

I know this was made FOUR YEARS AGO but I still greatly appreciate how far she went to nail in how stupid tropes are, even leaving the drawing tablet to show how stupid it looks in real life. 10/10 work Emily, did well.

"Interrupted confession scenes" *not just anime but almost every show I've watched*

Annoying tropes: 1. The girl call the main boy character a pervert and beating him because of a miss understanding that might look something perverted 2. The main boy character is hyperactive and really dumb when it comes to love and wins because the anime says so

The first trope is exactly the meaning of yandere simulator

ok, now I want a tsundere who gets the drop on the protagonist once, and never again. The protagonist always has a counter and it becomes a sort of greeting ritual between them.

Emily: *Eating like an anime character* Her roomate: *Smacks food away* *WOW WHAT A MOOD*

Team Rocket: *Puts on fake mustache or janitor outfit.* Ash: I’ve never met this man in my life.

Almost every anime love story always make the main characters end up together at the last episode 😩

I hate the whole not realizing a character isn't the gender you think they are until it's too late trope

Bonus note: I actually wish that the guy your typical tsundere character is in love with actually reacted like that.

I hate when they say “I can explain” and then don’t explain. It’s a cliche and you can achieve the same effect (or better) by having them explain immediately and the other character just doesn’t believe them because they have a reputation for lying to get out of things.

5:52 This was literally all the interactions between Yuki, Toya, and Nakuru in CardCaptorSakura and I was living for it. They had me hooked.

I just hate the trope of "Guy accidentally bumps into girl. Girl beats the life out of him for sexual harassment and calls him a pervert."

Villain: *lol you screwed you gon diey good Guy* Guy: I C-cant lose now..... Guy: wait, I must remember who I'm fighting for...... Guy: *all my frie-* Wait I don't have any **dies** Villain: ........ *I-i won?*

OMG the Tsundere animation, I laughed so hard. Even though I absolutely love characters like Katsuki Bakugo and Kyo Sohma, this trope DEFINITLY is overused. And the transformation one is SO TRUE, especially with sailor moon... I agreed with basically everything!

Tsundere’s can work, but they rarely do.

This is gonna sound weird, but the Danny Phantom fandom actually did that with a background character. I'm not joking. They took a background character, gave him a name, personality, and made him be the only outside one aware of the hero's identity. No one ever believes him and the hero trolls him. It's fun.

i get tired of the trope of how the love interest dies but then they get revived, sometimes multiple times. it's not like it's bad, it's just like "bro i thought you were dead🧍‍♀️"

For me: 1) During most fight scenes, some random character will go into explicit detail about what is happening that totally ruins the moment as the most of the time what is happening is extremely obvious or would be more interesting being implied. 2) Power Levels. I find this is an arbitrary way of saying how strong a character is. 3) Non-Food anime having characters rant and in great detail talk about food to the point that you think they are trying to sell you some or have stock in some company related to it. 4) Visual contradicting where you have a female character with a very mature looking appearance...is only 15. Why? That is weird on so many levels. Or the opposite problem where a character looks like a grade school student is in their 30s or 40s.

I will say that magical girls do have an edge on the secret identity thing because Japan has so many people. If you see Sailor Moon and then you see Usagi later, and you do make that connection, you still don’t know her name or where she lives. Depending on where you see her you might not ever see her as Usagi again in your life. And since there are middle to high school students it’s like “I have no idea who this is. This woman could literally be from any high school in the country.” My other explanation would probably just be ‘magic’.

I personally hate the “I fell in love with my bully” or “my bully fell in love with me” trope it just makes me so mad, obviously there is nothing wrong with liking this trope it’s just a personal opinion, like why would you fall in love with someone who either bully’s you to the brink of... offing yourself or bullying you so much it makes you... very unhappy for a long time (KZfaq censorship difficulties)

These little animations/animatics/skits in between topics are awesome lol

One trope that I liked in the soul eater animated adaptation is the child standing up against their abuser. Which is between crona and Medusa. If I were to remake soul eater, I would like to see crona rising up against his mother rather than just complying.

I once saw an anime, where the two main characters are sitting together eating sandwiches, the male character finished the sandwich in three bites and was eating his third sandwich, while the female character was still nibbling half of the sandwich. I know that some people eat in very small bites, but I don't think it's to that extend.

Honestly I kinda love when they have the interruption scenes, it was like one of the main plots in my favourite anime

A trope I HATE, is where the lead characters are Obviously in love, but it’s revealed the mc is a descendant/ Reincarnation of someone the love interest cared for/ was in love with. (This is usually done with the love interest being immortal). Before the reveal, the love interest doesn’t show much affection to the mc (if any at all. tho JUST enough hints will be given so YOU KNOW that the love interest IS in love w the mc). When it’s revealed, the love interest will suddenly become more caring/ will finally admit to themselves they love the mc. To me, this makes it feel like the love interest is pushing their past feelings on the mc. Maybe even treating them as they would of treated the past love, (An example is: fulfilling a promise they made to their past love. But w the mc). It makes it seem like they don’t love the mc for being MC. It just makes the whole relationship after it’s revealed feel fake 😅

Some stereotype tsundere: I HATE YOU **slaps** Also them: no wait come back I love you

*Main character is heavily damaged or almost dead* Has a flashback about friends or family and becomes OP out of no where.

The anime girls eat part made me laugh because it is so true. I got so used to it that I barely notice it in the actual show. There are so many tropes I don't like, I don't know where to begin. I try avoiding them in the book I am writing. I am more bothered by infodumbs themselves than tropes where a show would explain its entire power system for 10 minutes while we stare at still images. Not that it would help if there were any animation.

Kagura's relationship with Kyo from Fruits Basket is a very good example of the Tsundere trope. First time you meet her, she grabs Kyo by his ankles and starts helicoptering into the air before bashing him into the floor.

The misunderstanding thing was recently occurred in one anime I was watching ( I dont watch Sohjo anime so it was my 5th or 6th shojo anime) it was so painful to watch but I am glad it lasted only 2-3 episode but I loved that later cause the female character grows through it from her, "oh everyone is better then me, they are are so nice to mee,I am a bother" she gains courage in this time period and character growth of her was the best thing,I loved how writer did it.
