I don't think I had super cringey moments with anime but oh my god, I was Connor when it came to trying to make friends with Kingdom Hearts on IMVU. Yes, my avatar was dressed like the KH characters, including creating an OC Org XIII member that I think was called Alixia which was then just Aliia (Aaliyah) without the X, lol 😅. I became so obsessed with Kingdom Hearts, I used this website to create an embroidered hoodie with...and this is peak cringe...but it said "Akuroku 4ever, got it memorized?" On the back 😂😂😂😂😂. On the front of the jacket, on either side of the zipper, was VIII and XIII for Axel and Roxas' ranks in the Org. As luck would have it, the jacket was too small for my fatass. I could somewhat wear it at first, but then I eventually washed it and it really didn't fit. I had been saving it to only ever wear to a convention, but due to its size, I couldn't.That saved me from ever embarrassing myself with wearing it outside of the house (I never even wore it inside the house) and finally, I just threw it away. Nowadays, I don't really like Akuroku that much, since it's pretty much pedophilia. Unless Roxas has been aged up or Axel has been aged down, like in fanfiction. I don't think a lot of fans realize that Axel is 25 to Roxas' 15 😳. It's similarly why I pulled away from Black Butler, because I decided I just wasn't crazy about the innuendo of an adult sleeping with a 13 year old. This isn't to attack anyone who does still like those ships, it's just not my cup of tea anymore.

I am always on the fence on if I feel an identity crisis with myself. On my mom's side, my ancestors have been here since the.... unfortunately... colonization of the USA. they were here when it was 13 colonies, had a major general that worked for the English army at some point. so we come from England. there are a couple of people mixed in such as one from Germany that married into the main line, and another from Ireland at some point too. they now live in Ohio and were some of the first people to live in Ohio. I have my struggles in realizing that my great x10 or something grandpa was exiled from England for his radical religious views and was sent over here with his brother.... yeah we had someone on my mom's side do some serious digging! on my dad's side though, we have only been here for 4 generations, me being the 4th. on both my grandma and grandpa's side, they migrated over from mainly Czech-Slovakia (back before they were separated, sorry if i misspell.), Bohemia (when it was still a country), Poland, and Germany. I don't know hardly anything about anyone though, except my grandma, mainly Polish, made some AMAZING polish food, it was my fave whenever we visited her! so I suppose I deal with a different type of identity crisis where there are too many people and been here too long on one side and on the other side, no one really talked about their ancestry. I had to find this all out on my own because luckily the family member who did all the digging posted it all on ancestry site. So i suppose I am American? but that doesn't feel right either.... idk who I am tbh.
