Thank you for pointing out the foot stomp. Couldn’t get into the game at all, the timing is so precise and not knowing what to time for makes it damn near impossible. I was trying to time based on hand movement, but foot movement/stomp is much easier!

This video is old, but I should say that holding the (MED) button will cause you to kick out as soon as possible for your current health. You can also intentionally kick out at 2.9 by simply not pressing the (MED) button until the referee's hand moves for the 3 count. Also, it's better to use all 4 directions to escape submissions.

Love this game,played Fire Pro Returns on PS2.Just got the ps4 release last night.I submerged myself in Fire Pro mode,downloaded a GBA emulator on my phone just to play Fire Pro Wrestling 2.never played it before and was impressed how similar it plays to the new one.

I came back to see this video because it has been so long since I trained/played fire pro wrestling

Learned this years ago when playing on the SNES. I watch their feet to get the timing down. I don't listen; I watch and I'm beast after so many years. Only problem is figuring out what makes an 80% match or 90% match ot whatever.

whoa! this game is very complex. i have Fire Pro Wrestling X on Super Famicom but i never played it since i don't have a console to make it work yet. I heard this game was really deep but from this vid, it looks very complex. But it looks amazing. Every wrestler looks like they should. I heard there's MMA fighting in here too

So glad I found this video. Man I just bought this game and not even 20 minutes of playing I was like man fuck this game why is it so damn difficult to find out how to grapple or even hit light punches smh 🤦‍♂️ did I just waste $8 on this game lol 😂but I will try again later today if I still don’t get into it at least it was only $8. And I’ll just stick to playing AEW Fight Forever cuz at least they made it like they said they were old school wcw/nwo revenge style. And I love that game. That’s my favorite wrestling game of all time and I will be buying it soon but for now I’ll be playing it on my bros console till I buy the game for mine lol 😂

But what are the controls like?! Fire Pro on GBA is great, easy to get used to. But I just got fire pro returns on PS3, and it's horrible. I haven't played it loads yet but, from what I've played, I can't win a grapple. Is World easier to get used to and win grapples?

Hey man, do you have any tips on getting high match ratings for SWA rules matches that only last 10 minutes? I'm trying to get the Mission Master achievement and it's impossible for me to even get a 70% in those types of matches. I was only able to get above 80% when I let my opponent beat me up for a few minutes, but then I don't have enough time to win the match within the 10 minute limit.

That's why I don't like fire pro, they make the grappling system too impossible.. you have to be perfect or your opponent can hit a move instead.. plus the having to breathe during a match just gets annoying.. no reason to complicate a wrestling game, its not real life..
