This game really needs an in- game tutorial

I just got the game on ps4 because I’ve seen lots of really great looking matches. My first match I couldn’t land a single drop kick on Juice Robinson. So now here I am so I can get my revenge. Thanks for the help!

The reason Fire Pro has some similarities with Pro Wrestling on NES is because the guy that programmed Pro Wrestling on the NES is the same guy that created the Fire Pro series.

Just played my first match. It was 14 minutes long, there was no tutorial on how to play, hitting your opponent in any angle other than straight on is difficult, and I won with a sleeper hold I didn't know how I did. I love this game already. Add the fact I can have over 7,000 wrestlers and that number is always rising further and further and it gets much better. Some of the best cash I ever spent.

I just picked up Fire Pro Wrestling World. First I was afraid I can’t handle this timing since many ppl say it’s hard. Actually it’s not that hard. And your guide got me through this early stage. It’s by far the best out on youtube to get started with FPWW. Even 4 years later. Thanks!

Thanks a bunch man for giving the rundown on timing the moves. I had preordered it on the PS Store and have mostly spent my time downloading CAW’s and working on completing the tutorial missions so I can go in knowing what lm doing. This game has a steep learning curve which will be rewarding in the end. I’m more familiar of FPW from back in the days of playing it on the GBA, which I wish I still had.

My first match I took an L with Kenny Omega vs. Takahashi from an elbow to the back. I will now avenge that loss!

Nice little tutorial. My 8yr old son desperately wants to start playing Fire Pro and while I know what I'm doing I found it hard to explain the timing required to master the grapples to him. So your vid has been a huge help to get him started. I'm looking forward to part 2. Thanks

I don't know what affect this has on the games but your hand will look like a claw, which is awesome. I don't know what is this but could you please explain in more details? How to steal opponent finisher moves? A key is an action key; P key is a cage grapple key. When you are near the cage, you need to press A and P AND a direction arrow (⬆️) at the same time to do the move you want. This takes lots of practice to get the timing right, so you may have to keep doing it until it works. So remember: 🅰️+🅿️+⬆️ BUT at the right time. Practice makes perfect. Oh, and for different wrestlers, you need to use a different direction arrow depending what their settings are like. So you need to keep trying with ⬆️, ➡️, ⬇️ and ⬅️ until one of them works. I just got this game for Ps4...its great but frustrating at the same time. The grappling mechanic is crazy hard to learn with the timing....the computer is killing me.

Great tutorial but I just learned the game has a tutorial called Mission mode. You start out by learning grapples but you can't advance until you master each section.
