As a beginner which ETFs should I consider, and what portion of my funds should I allocate to them? thank you.

I divide SCHD with DGRO and just make that one ETF of the portfolio. So instead of 33% VOO, 33% QQQM, 17 % SCHD, 17% DGRO. The SCHD/DGRO acts as one ETF of the pie to round out the 34 %, Personally I put down 2.5m$ on few ETFs, still diversifying. it was this time last year I made my first million with a liquid 200k. handed it to a trader here in CA, I get weekly pay out which I put back on long term ETF's. Tesla will be a huge buy for me when the market bottoms.

A lot of people are doing this to hedge their risk of schd by adding a dividend growth etf like dgro with the technology trend in the market. Good move, Please share this Expert with me.

I have a 3 fund portfolio consisting of 33% S&P, 33% Total stock, and 33% international. I feel a need to focus on complete growth so I went 100% stocks, but does the SP500 and TSM overlap too much to make sense holding both? However I’ve been in the red for a month now. I work hard for my money, so investing is making me a nervous sad wreck. I don’t know if I should sell everything, sit and just wait but watching my portfolio dwindle away is such an eye -sore.

There are many other interesting stocks in many industries that you might follow. You don't have to act on every forecast, so I'll suggest that you work with a financial advisor who can help you choose the best times to purchase and sell the shares or ETFs you want to acquire.

I agree, that's the more reason I prefer my day to day investment decisions being guided by an advisor, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not out-perform, been using my advisor for over 2years+ and I've netted over 2.8million.

Buying a stock is easy, but buying the right stock without a time-tested strategy is incredibly hard. Hence what are the best stocks to buy now or put on a watchlist? I’ve been trying to grow my portfolio of $260K for sometime now, my major challenge is not knowing the best entry and exit strategies... I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.

The market is volatile at this time, hence i will suggest you get yourself a financial-advisor that can provide you with entry and exit points on the shares/ETF you focus on.

It's often true that people underestimate the importance of financial advisors until they feel the negative effects of emotional decision-making. I remember a few summers ago, after a tough divorce, when I needed a boost for my struggling business. I researched and found a licensed advisor who diligently helped grow my reserves despite inflation. Consequently, my reserves increased from $275k to around $750k.

This dedication to continuous learning is inspiring. managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 432k in the space of a few months... RIP Munger! He and Buffett have both achieved an incredible feat with Berkshire. They've turned thousands to billions, and have made a lot of people wealthy in the process. I really saw the potential of the stock market by reading Berkshire's annual letters. I recently sold my $674k apartment in the Bel Air area and I'm hoping to throw it into the stock market. I just don't want to lose everything.

Most newbies either do not understand the power of compound interest, or are just impatient. For the average Joe, however, I think it is just best to invest in the S&P 500, and just wait, which is reliable, albeit extremely long-- lots of years. Or just use a professional analyst and speed up wealth creation. Most people underestimate the power of the latter.

I think it is so funny that a video from 5 months ago claimed that MGK would be worth $23 million after 30 years, but now in this video they are saying it will be worth $500k after 30 years. Man that’s some slow down in the market :-)

I have to agree with @user-bq5fp3zg5y. How can after 10 yrs 10k multiply by 3.5397. Then the next 10 yrs x 3.4773. Then the next 10 yrs x 3.3953. In this scenario, it’s reducing. Is that still compounding. If you don’t withdraw. I don’t think so. I can’t make it work. Maybe it’s just me. If I’m wrong. That’s ok. Please, Help me out. I need to get this right. I’m getting ready to sell my house and put 600k into ETF’s. I really enjoy and get incredible inspiration from your videos. Jamie. 🇦🇺

So these are assumptions on only investing 10k once and letting it grow with reinvesting the dividends only. But if you keep investing say 5k or whatever yearly it’s stands to grow even more right?

The JMA calculator does take into account dividends, dividend reinvestments, and share price appreciation. As for the cost of owning, the expense ratio over the long term does not change the return impact, so it was skipped for this video.
