Honestly joie, you had no reason to be nervous, you are one of the “big ones” in junk journal world alongside these other fab ladies, your creations were fab as always, I love that you made the items so ‘you’, yet they will go really well with the other collaborators things by using Barbara’s papers the way you did. And also managed to knock out 6 items that quickly I’m impressed! I know the video has been edited much shorter, but even so, you did the majority on film. Love these embellishments, especially the envelopes. I'm part of a novice junk journal group and we are working on our first journals. Joie: I’ve been watching all of the participants in this challenge. I told Barbara she really has a job ahead of her. All of you ladies are at the top of your game. I’ve enjoyed watching you all create. As far as what I’m creating, I’m working on one of my own crafts. It is a three tier cardboard cake with a cake topper. The theme is “Coffee, tea, or Me?” This is a table decoration/centerpiece of cardboard and paper. You might call it a paper sculpture. Carol from California

I always say "yes" because I never was allowed to say "no". Sometimes I wonder if I will learn one day to think/say/do, what's in MY mind, what's good for ME ... That's why I like your videos so much: it's not teaching and learning and functioning once more. You are calm, friendly, open for what's coming up in your mind. You're "in the flow" (would we say in Germany), you're following your soul. And because of that you must not feel preasure - you are giving your Soul into your art. That can never be wrong or less good or whatever. I can calm down and relaxe just by looking your videos.

do you know what I like most about your videos, not the explanation, nor the colours chosen, or the concepts, the envelopes, the collages, none of this, it is your face, you show who you are, and I love the personal touch, I also love your accent...lol so thanks for being a joy to watch and listen too xxx

@@joiedefi I know, I am a Medium and I work on the Platform, getting in front of a room full of people can be daunting, but you look and sound very comfortable, very relaxed, this is the key, and I love your tutorials thankx xxx

My favorite thing to make is three small folders on a bellyband. I think they’re the neatest things. Sometimes they fave tabs and sometimes not and have journaling spots inside.

That little notebook made me think... If I want to journal on a page that is from a book page (all type), what I often do is glue white tissue paper over it, using acrylic medium which dries clear). The printed type can still be seen, but is muted enough to write over. 🙂

I so enjoy watching your videos! You are so organized, and you clearly state what you are doing! And the typed "recipe" instructions I'm in love with! When cooking or baking I have to have a recipe. No dash, pinch or as my hubby does ... a little bit of this, some of that, etc! Lol 😆 🤣 🙃 So your videos are perfect for me! 👍👍👍 These turned out very pretty and I love the kit!
