I'd love to see your review of Cheekbone Beauty. They are Canadian, Indigenous-owned, environmentally-friendly and just started being sold at Sephora! I love that brand so much and they deserve some attention.

I find it so funny because I love the Lancome foundation and I’ve tried the synchro skin from Shiseido. And I had the opposite. It proves how people skin reacts to different foundations! 💕

Yes Lancôme is my favorite foundation now that I’m in my thirty’s. I tried the Nars one but that didn’t work for me it would crease really badly on me, but their conciler omg it’s perfect for my under eyes. So yeah there isn’t a one and done foundation for everyone. But when she said that the Lancôme foundation doesn’t transfer I’m like how did you get it to do that because I hugged my bf and left foundation all over his shoulder 😳 and I used the all nighter setting spray. So I was so shocked when that happened.

I’m obsessed with the Teint Idole! Lancôme Skin Feels Good is my favorite though. I would recommend trying it if you haven’t already. It’s very hydrating but still gives a nice medium coverage! I will say I prefer a more sheer to light-medium coverage and a dewy finish.

I mix the Lancome with a very high moisture, lighter coverage bb cream and that helps a lot! It feels lighter, but maintains its coverage and stays moisturizing on my skin.

I love the hourglass stick foundation. Didn’t love it at first as it would wear off and collect in my lines…but then I started applying and spreading with my fingers. Wears well all day on my combo skin (oily tzone). Looks like skin but waaaay better!

The Lancome foundation is my holy grail, second to Double Wear. I’m very oily and acne prone and it’s one of the very few products that will actually stay on my face and doesn’t break me out.

It’s so funny but the tent idol was one of my favorites for the longest time but I figured out my skincare and have stopped buying it but my FAVORITE is the L’Oréal age perfect liquid and powder fountains it’s just so good. It’s does break down over time but not in a gross way, it’s like it melts in the best way possible lol

I literally just bought a jar of dream matte mousse - Robert Welsh tried it as a joke and ended up liking it! It was… an experience. Looked ok with a bit of my ilia skin tint over the top to bring the moisture back. 🤗

I liked the Lancôme foundation when I was in my 20s. Mostly because I’m so fair and their foundation and powder was one of the few to get almost fair enough so I mixed face lotion in to help get to my correct color. Over time I noticed that it was super drying once they came out with a shade that actually matches. For reference I am 32 and 90N in the Lancôme foundation.

Same here on Lancome meeting my need for a pale foundation back then! But I ended up using Teint Miracle, not Teint Idole, because the latter is more drying. Miracle is much more glowy rather than matte, and soothing for dry skin.

So I typically don’t like Makeup Forever foundations, but I am loving the matte velvet skin foundation ONLY as a primer - I put a very small amount on as a base layer to smooth and perfect (pale shade that matches my skin perfectly) then I layer my Shiseido self-refreshing in a shade slightly darker than my actual skin. The MF really brightens and smooths in acne scars and pores and makes the Shiseido glide on 🙌🏼 Ever since I started doing this I’ve been having the best makeup days!

I noticed the MUFE Ultra HD that I bought recently also filled in my pores really well, the same like what you’re describing, but it wasn’t enough for me to keep it. I feel like that’s what primers are for.

I've always wanted to like Teint Idole. It shade matches me PERFECTLY and is one of the few foundations that ever did (I am super pale, and choose not to wear darker shades of foundation or bronze up. I like my natural ghostliness LOL.) But Teint Idole is sooo drying and it's not matte--it's FLAT. Dull, flat, and yeah, it makes lines even where there aren't any. Teint Miracle is similar in shade range but it's such a nicer, more flattering product--one of the original "radiant" or glowy foundations, imho. Nobody talks about it, though. Odd. Please, yes, do more tutorials! You are such a good teacher and It's really fun learning from you. And please do film the declutters! Those are just so fun, I can't even explain why, but they are fun and satisfying too! :-)

I would recommend some Shiseido foundation - they have some great paler shades cause it’s an Asian brand

In one of your videos, you asked if we wanted a Dashing Diva nail sticker tutorial, and I would love one! 💅🏻 I bought a few sets on sale and haven’t used them yet because they’re so pretty I don’t want to mess them up with a bad application.

This was fun! I have the Lancôme foundation and actually really like it. It’s kind of an “evening” foundation for me though. My favorite foundation right now is the Sephora good skin one. It’s just kind of the perfect every day easy one for me. I do remember the dream matte mouse and like pretty much everyone I wore it all the time! When I was younger I could pull off more of a matte look but now it makes my skin look like parchment. I also wonder if maybe they didn’t change the recipe at some point because I also remember living it then not really liking it as much after repurchasing it. 🤷♀️
