An entertaining game for the neutrals as, for the 2nd year running, Stoke face Brighton at the bet365 stadium in the fa cup. Although Stoke took the lead and eventually equalising, Brighton pushed on to secure a place in the 4th round.

Never seen a virtually empty main stand alongside a pitch for a 3rd round FA match before against higher opposition and not on the tv. 13,000 empty seats (despite the £1 for a kid offer) and Brighton sold out their allocation.

Good Albion support but remember it was literally only 6 years ago that we had just 14,000 for a FAC 3rd round game against Palace, and THEY sold 2,500. Anyway, best of luck to Stoke for the rest of the season.

Good effort from the stoke players but Brighton just had a bit too much for them today .Good luck with the rest of the season hopefully see you in the prem soon

I was there but I think we were stronger in the 1st half then we were a bit tired in the 2nd half but 2 goals that’s what I like

Highlights on tv will look like an impressive attendance. Instead of having loads of empty seats dotted around the ground. Great turn out for such a distance.

@petemills5704 thats what I mean. We wouldn't have many more in the ground anyway so their point is to cram whoever turns up, into the seats where cameras will view more. It worked. Checkout the highlights.

What are you on about. Brighton buy cheap and sell high. Yes Pedro cost £30m but that’s about it…many academy..Dunk,hinshelwood a fat zero. Buonanotte £7m, gross £3m. Etc. do your research. It’s their recruitment that won the quality players and the game. You’re welcome.

Brighton are a locally owned club. The family are life long supporters. You couldn't find more of a community club than The Albion.
