We can eat a whole full meal with 70-80 rs in Bangalore. Which includes a bowl of rice, papad, bowl of rasam, bowl of sambar ,one or two varieties of sweet which can be kesari bath or payasa. And a bowl of curd.even we get a sabzi too. Chapati , Puri or roti is also given but depends on what u ask for in which place of the state of Karnataka.

@@wazir1561 actually that's why we eat roti with sabji (gravy) in morning, rice + sabji in lunch and roti+sabji in dinner. Extra things like chutney, achar,papad,tillauri, tarua(fried veggies) etc are optional. As you know our country is very diverse so this will be not represent whole north india. This is only in the region of East UP,bihar,jharkhand, bengal and some parts of Chhattisgarh.

भाई अभी कुछ दिनों पहले मैं यहां आया था तो मैंने पांच दिनों तक एक टाइम केवल यही खाया था क्योंकि एक टाइम तो नॉर्थ इंडियन खाना खा लेता था लेकिन उसका स्वाद खराब था मसाले सही नही गिरे हुए थे लेकिन साउथ वाले पुरा पेट खराब हो गया पता नहीं वहा के लोग कैसे जीते हैं

South indian breakfast varies by state s. If , i am not wrong this seems more of karnataka style. Which is nice imo. While kerala, where I am from, breakfast is quite different. It's either - ●Appam + curry /stew/gravy (veg or non veg) ●Puttu + curry ( veg / non veg) ● Dosa + curry ● Dosa + chutneyb+ curry ● Idiyappam + curry ● savoury stuffs like upma is not supercommon, but some people prefer that too. ● Malabar or kerala porotta + curry or gravy ( mostly non veg curry ) ● Idli + curry ( mostly veg curry / some people also prefer non veg curries) ● there is also , chappati as suppliment of appam ( some people prefer to reduce consumption of starch & influenced from north indian cuisine ) There are more varieties within the state. These are just some popular dishes.
