6 INCH LIFT INSTALL ON A 94 F-150 (CLEARS 35'S)

In this video we install ( watch Doug install) a 6" lift on Spencer's new to him 94 F-150. It's pieced together from several lift kits that Spencer and Doug have laying around from other trucks they used to own. And we put on some 35's with some slight bumper trimming.

I’ve got a 92 on a 3” body lift but I want 35s so I’m putting on a 6” rough country I’ll probably take the body lift off I don’t really want a 9” lift🤣

If anyone sees this could you answer a question if you know what happens? I recently bought a 96 on a 6 inch suspension lift 3 inch body lift and 35s the drop brackets are in the 4 inch lift hole bought it like that so question is what all does it affect really? Would the front sit as low as a 4 inch lift would sit ?

I just installed 6” on my 92 F150 just curious if you had this issue. Installed the new coil spring the 1”1/8 nut and cupped washer on bottom doesn’t touch coil spring at all when fully tightened. Coil in there guess the weight of truck hold coil in place.

Brandon Cotton the weight of the truck will hold the spring. Could be the spring you installed has a different end or something that is bigger

Sorry I know it’s a 2y old video but I have a 92 F-150 and just bought a 6in BDS lift. For 2-3 people how long of a project do you think it would take? Would I need extended brake lines? And on a scale of 1-10 how difficult of a job is it? I’m not expecting a response but worth a shot 👍

You don’t NEED brake lines but I would get them. The project would prob take a weekend or 2 if you aren’t use to working on trucks. If your not new to this and you’ve installed a lift before I would say about half a day to a day

Hey! Awesome video. Quick question. Did your 35's fit on the stock rims? I've got a 96 with the same rims and I'm about to lift it and throw some new 33s on there. Thanks for your time.

Did i hear 15 in rims with 35,s ? And what is the offset of the rim ?

Did you have any problems with the rear differential with such big tires?

No problems up until Spencer sold it to get something else. But he has had multiple lifted fords like that and so has is his dad and they never had any issues.

Did you have to adjust camber on the front tires after the lift install?

jason cruz yes I turned the eccentric bushing on the upper ball joint on the passenger side and was able to get it very close. It needs a more aggressive eccentric bushing but it’s within .5 of a degree on the alignment machine.

@jason cruz Naw, he just drove it all wonky and decided to ruin his front tires with in the first week or so of driving. That is the new thing to do.... Kind of a retarded question to ask man.

Do you have to use the old blocks and stack with the new ones

We took the old blocks out but you can stack them if you have long enough u bolts

Nice job. Might you help me. with telling me what size shock absorbers you put on it. or if you give me the number part of the shocks to buy some for my truck. mine has a 6” elevation too. 92 f150 4x4

Don’t know the part numbers but they where just standard 6” lift shocks.
