6 inch Tasker Traction Engine now sold

I purchased new this just under five years ago and haven’t used it. My main interest has moved to 7 1/4 inch gauge steam locomotives.
It is fully road registered, however it has only done 3 miles ! I have enjoyed steaming it up in the garden a total of twelve times for a total of 41 hours .
I have always used rain water and boiler treatment in the boiler and it always been kept in a heated workshop.
Berrybrook Steam have now sold it.

any idea who does the castings for this? adrian nutting does the compound, but i want single cylinder.

Sorry I can’t help with this. This one was made by Dream Machiens. The other person who has committed on the video Modelfabs has a video of making parts for a Tasker so I assume he is making one. He may be able to help.

I have a part built Tasker in six inch scale Please could you tell me what is the working pressure of the boiler Thanks

The boiler was made by John Rex boilers and the working pressure was 120 psi .Hope this helps.

@@TheModelav8r Thanks I have had the boiler made by Tony Baldwin. The castings came from the original patterns by Alan Davenport of Park patterns 2000 based in the Black country He part exchanged his nearly finish six inch Tasker with a finished 4" fowler for for a full size Steam roller. I had a set of castings done twenty years ago. Sadly not a lot as been done to the engine in this time but I hope to put a few hours in now I have been given my P45.
