Very nice😃 I think the volume of AR is to much, what percentage of metal did you calculate on the fingers?

Thanks :-) Believe it or not, the amount is OK. :-) From three liters I gradually added half a liter and only after five and a half liters the gold stopped cementing and the solution was clear.

Also... 6 liters of AR is a lot of nitric... is there something else thats a bit cheaper?

This is a cheap solution. compare the price of gold obtained and the price of acids. With other solutions, you have to invest much more time. P.S. Nitric is already included in 6 liters AR...

Thats pretty nice button, but if i were you i'd do it in nitric acid first then AR because it will reduce the amount of used chemicals, waste and give a better yield

The yield will be basically the same, maybe I will save a small amount of acid, but I will lose a lot more time which is MUCH more expensive than the acid saved.

@@BohumilGraman no it won't be the same, and here is why, there are much AR that contain gold stuck in the filter you used, and on the PCB itself. Washing it didn't get it all. And the time used I think there is no much difference because nitric acid will do the work as fast as AR then cleaning the foils won't take much but in this case you have control over your AR solution (foils dissolve pretty fast) so it will give better yield. Maybe .2-.3g more

Ahoj, lamely - nevím, samotné RAM jsem nedělal. Čipy - mám tam několik mnoho kilogramů DDR čipů a DDR2/3 čipů (odděleně), ale nejsem schopen se k tomu dokopat. :-)

This time you get nice amount of gold Wy you dont use only nitric only first All base matal desolve Then get gold foil and use AR mathode to get peurity I always lost some gold when i make lots of ar solution Better way is to use very small amount of ar solution Sorry for my bad English
