I am a 17 y/o boutta grad high school. There's this girl whom I've been Friends with for years and had a crush on but she never liked me back ever. During lockdown it completey ended between us,no contact and she almost forgot me. After the lockdown when I met her again, we it went all good, by the end of our 10th grade(may of 2022), she started liking me back. Then in 11th grade I joined a coaching institute for preparing for JEE and stopped goin to school, only 2-3 times a month, also gave up on social media. Met her once in a while in school and had good interactions, but I always knew I don't have a chance ( she got far better options than me), but still had hope. I just wanted to forget her, but couldn't, so I stopped talking to her. At the last day of 11th grade (march of 2023), I decided to Confess TO GET REJECTED so that I could end it with her and get rid of that false hope. She said she never looked at me that way and we could still be friends, basically frienzoned. I was able to move on for a while and decided to never talk with her again, but whenever I saw her, my mind just went crazy. I wanted to talk to her, have those interactions. Fuckin stalked her on insta every once in a while. And now i'm even more obsessed with her, even when we ain't talked for months. Just can't stop thinkin about her, I got finals in 2 weeks but I cant read a single book. I feel so ashamed for bein so mentally clingy. My grades never been this low, and still i cant focus on studying.I'v watched so many vids but nothin works. I know gettin a life, bein social and meeting new girls is the solution, but my curriculum required me to burry myself in books and not interact much with people. Youre my last strand of hope, I cant talk to anyone abt this. I just feel like dyin. How do I stop thinking about her.

This is exactly what I was thinking a few days back. i am a woman but its really nice seeing guys like you are spreading awareness on this matter. indian society always represses stuffs like these and i believe thats one of the big reason why sexual violence against women are so high here. teenagers need proper guidance on matters like this. so that boys can grow up as health men and treat women as humans. i see so many men specially some old men as well staring very creepily at every women even little girls sometimes and its actually a very scary society for women to live in. not to mention the fact since men behaving like that is seen as Normal in our society theres so much victim blaming and many victims never even report it to police. the justice system also never punishes the criminals of sexual crimes that harshly. only with more men coming forward and educating other fellow men will help this problem tremendously. just a couple of months ago a little girl near i live was brutally r@ped and murdered (her body was chopped off) by her own cousin brother, alot older than her btw. hearing stuff like this makes us very anxious about going out. sexual violence has increased alot
