I LOVE that you told the truth about the pain the FIRST 3 days; it so true; thought I was dying.

I had the procedure a week ago and I’m already feeling a lot better. The pain with the added pressure from the procedure was excruciating! I experienced a lot of lower back pain and hip for a couple of days which has subsided. Thank God! Not to mention i slept bad a few nights before the procedure and had to also deal with shoulder pain. A week later my appetite is returning. I lost some weight due to not being able to eat solids for some days. I have 5 they targeted so I’m praying everything is going well. I feel something is happening lol

Yesssss it felt really great about 2 weeks later! I still have slight pain on my right side where the uterus is still contacting, and if I’m moving too extreme I’ll feel it… other than that I feel AMAZING! The first few nights were terrible lol… I just knew I was going back to work the next week 😂😂 my body said nope! My cycle also came super light and only 2 days. I did spot for about 3 weeks. I lost 10lbs immediately after the procedure, I had 15 total fibroids and 2 were 7cms… I also went plant based once I was able to eat again… I cut sugar, dairy, and other foods. I also have Hodgkins Lymphoma Cancer so I wanted to make a drastic life change, starting with the procedure. I go for my follow-up next week with the radiologist, I can update after.

Thanks so much for sharing! I had UFE and it was very painful after the surgery. I have a very large 8cm fibroid on top of my uterus and during my menstrual cycles it felt like I was giving birth to my uterus because it's hormone induced, and it felt like it was growing bigger. Anyway, I feel better 3 weeks after the procedure. The amigo seal us very uncomfortable. I bleed for the first 2 weeks after the surgery. I have cramping from the fibroid shrinking but less painful than before the surgery. I changed my diet since my fibroid and take extra vitamin D and had taken iron supplements because I had been anemic for years from heavy long menstrual cycles. I think it's worth it. I didn't want a hysterectomy, but my radiologist says if it doesn't work then I'll have no choice because my fibroid is large and is affecting other organs and blocking blood flow up to my heart due to the size and position of it. I'll follow up in August again with another scan once the amigo seal dissolves. I'm hopeful...All the best and God bless you all. 💝🙏🤗

Hey Lady I have had fibroids and I have had fibroids on and off for years they do come back sometimes after surgery and I decided to google about this condition and I have yet to try fibroblend supplements after surgery but they are one option that learned about and I was told by Chef Ricardo to use oregano, turmeric and ginger 2 cups of water put all ingredients in a pan and boil them strain and drink in the morning and before bed daily thanks for sharing your story my dear

Thanks for sharing. So sorry to hear about the fact that you couldn't keep any food in initially. had mine done last week Wednesday. My pain is under control and I have been eating from day one. Still healing though. I am glad I eventually had the procedure done.

I am from Pakistan. My UFE was done on 19 July 2023. I had heard that there is a lot of pain but during the procedure I didn't feel anything at all when the particles were put in I felt a burning sensation the whole procedure took about half an hour then I was shifted to the ward I started having cramps which lasted for about an hour but were bearable then I was put on painkiller drops and I fell asleep the cramps stopped but it was all bearable as I heard the pain was unbearable. Thank God it was nothing. The next day I was sent home. The pain is getting less and less with each passing day, but no weight lifting for two weeks. The heating pad helped me a lot in this whole process. Whenever I got cramps, I would put the heating pad on and it would give me a lot of relief.

I just had my UFE procedure at Piedmont Atlanta and it was the worst pain ever.Worst than labor pain and lasted me 6 days with Tylenol codeine and Ibuprofen 600mg together.I still have slight cramping and light period discharges.My period came 3 weeks after my procedure and it was worst than before I had the procedure.I usually have 2 heavy days& 3 light days during my period.I had 5 heavy days & 3 light days.I'm so disappointed with my results of the UFE because it has made things worst.I haven't stop bleeding since the procedure except 2 days and now I spot daily off and on with slight cramping.I will follow up with my OB doctor for a ultrasound of my uterus and MRI to make sure my uterus wasn't damaged.I hope things get better with time. I am from Germany, did the procedure 3 days before. Your 2 videos helped me more than a chat with a doctor. And I am in a university hospital of a big big german city. 💝 I had sooooo much pain. It was traumatising as you said. Now on day 3 I have even bladder pain. Every half an hour I have to empty her. Anybody knows this? Mine was 9 and 2 centimetres

Thank you for sharing your story! I have been considering this and looking at videos.. I’m nervous about it. The pain I feel NOW with a 3cm fibroid has caused me to go the ER, be sick etc. So wonder if the pain is comparable to procedure pain. Idk.

You can have a Hysteroscopy to have them removed once they shrink and that is an invasive procedure that your OBGYN can do in their office. This is after the UFE procedure

My symptoms are terrible. The thought of the pain from the procedure outweighs EVERYTHING. I cannot bring myself to do it. If you have children, how would you compare the surgery to giving birth?

I did my procedure 7 days ago Last night I tried to wean myself off of Ibuprophen. Woke up in a lot of pain. Had to take it again. How long did you have to be on meds? Thank you! 💖
