I got my ufe almost 2 months a go and some weeks and to be honest the cramps after the procedure are real painful but this is normal this why they give you pain killers cus the pain could be real strong but every day will be better the pain will past only that cus the fibroid will start shrinking and u will feel the changes and some days u will be ok and some days not

I had mine a month ago. To be honest I didn't have much pain, I had more trouble with taking all the medication. I feel like they gave me too much medicine and they were too strong for my stomach. I had nausea and vomit, couldn't keep anything on my stomach for about 4 days. At day 3, I decided to only take the antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medication. I had spotting right on the 1st day after the procedure and I haven’t had my menstrual cycle yet...I have several fibroids to point that my doctor told me it was dangerous to do surgery since she didn't have any muscle to work on, so she recommended UFE.

I don’t like it. I put it in before bed and it’s a whole 24 hours later. I’m use to using PhD’s boric acid and within a few hours it’s doing the leaking and making me feel fresh and clean. Maybe if I had a yeast infection or BV I could give it a better review. I feel like it would be great to moisturize the dryness. I typically use boric acid when I’m ovulating because I deal with mild dryness during ovulation. I’m going to keep these just in case I may get BV or a yeast infection.

Yesssss it felt really great about 2 weeks later! I still have slight pain on my right side where the uterus is still contacting, and if I’m moving too extreme I’ll feel it… other than that I feel AMAZING! The first few nights were terrible lol… I just knew I was going back to work the next week 😂😂 my body said nope! My cycle also came super light and only 2 days. I did spot for about 3 weeks. I lost 10lbs immediately after the procedure, I had 15 total fibroids and 2 were 7cms… I also went plant based once I was able to eat again… I cut sugar, dairy, and other foods. I also have Hodgkins Lymphoma Cancer so I wanted to make a drastic life change, starting with the procedure. I go for my follow-up next week with the radiologist, I can update after.

I was required to have a catheter inserted in my bladder. It's called a Fullay catheter (at least that's how they pronounce it. It was painful going in and even worse coming out. I had to pass all urine through it for the entire process through it. I will say after about 4 hrs when the bladder is mostly empty(it takes forever for the urine to pass through because of the circumference of the catheter and it feels like being forced to hold the urine because it leaves at snails pace through it) I did not want to stay overnight to have that thing in me while I slept.
