Grizzlies struggle to kill prey their size. A captive tiger killed a captive polar bear in the UK. It jumped on the bears back and broke it's neck in a few seconds. The bear didn't stand a chance and couldn't then fight back.

Agree in fact they have a higher stamina, brute strength and high endurance, not to mention how they are almost as fast as a horse. They can kill any big cat in a 1v1 unless the bear fights a lion cause they go in prides The only things that hurts the bear is its bulkiness, less intelligent and as said, they have a poor vision. But other than that, bear rules over any big cat

@JADE-vc3dt Yeah, cats are more prone to fighting. I think a grizzly would probably avoid a tiger. Female Mountain Lions have been known to chase off male grizzly bears. A tiger is 3 or 4 times the size of a female mountain lion, but if you forced the grizzly and made him fight, my money is on the grizzly

Siberian tigers have a very variable size nowadays, illegal hunting makes it difficult to find large specimens and still have a good portion of prey.

That is an interesting opinion. For as strong as big cats are, grizzly bears are at least twice as powerful. Grizzly bears have larger claws than any big cat. I'm not sure how you came to the conclusion that big cats have "better" biting attacks, I guess it depends on how you define "better". On top of being bigger, stronger, and much more stamina, they can take so much punishment/damage and keep going Iike nothing happened. I'm failing to see how this is an "easy win". Any big cat gets destroyed the vast majority of the time.

@@michaelmoore2052 grizzly bear cannot move like a big cat. If they get by a pack of wolves, they’re getting had by a pride of lions easily. Tigers get up to 700 pounds, grizzly’s weigh more which helps with strength, but a big cat is gonna latch itself and bite the bears neck. If a jag just got its back bit the grizzly’s head it’s over. Tigers only have slightly less powerful bite force but it’s very slightly, match that with its teeth compared to the grizzly I would say tigers and jags have the more capable biting attacks. I don’t know difference of opinion I guess.

I saw a video of a mother cougar trying to scare a big grizzly bear away from her cubs by repeatedly biting and clawing him while the bear was just using her as a good old ear scratcher.

Lions have also been documented to be scared by dogs and tigers have been intimidated by sloth bears.

Ancient Coliseum’s recorded that when a Grizzly fights big cats like Lions and Tigers, the Grizzly wins almost always in a landslide. The Grizzlies that lion fought were likely young and not full grown, why would that guy risk losing his pet to a fully grown Grizzly? No chance he would let that thing fight an adult Grizzly, it would at the very least have been vitally injured
