Great advise about the radio backup camera. Also make sure that radio comes with bluetooth and CarPlay.

Leo, my man, I did the radio, wheel, shifter, marker lights, spoiler but before I do the splitter and side skirts I went for the BIGGEST MOD on my C6 -- the C8 style Headlights!!!!! World of difference foe exterior...... Can't wait to see the video, I Know, your gonna do..

Great recommendations. I have a 2012 Grand Sport that I’ve done upgrades to. As a matter of fact three of the six you mentioned. Radio, backup camera, spoiler, and smoked side markers, with tail lamps. Iva also added a dash cam, front bumper camera and a curb alert system. I’m strongly considering adding the side skirts as well as the front chin splitter. But that’s for the future. I feel anyone who owns a C6 really needs a curb alert system. It sucks to hear your front chin splitter scrape against anything. So I recommend that system to all C6 owners.

Expensive, but an upgraded exhaust really enhances the driving experience.

I’ve done all of the upgrades shown on your video except change my radio, stereo sound is such a broad spectrum when it comes to sound preferences. Not everyone who owns a C6 need to upgrade from what is factory provided (which is pretty good sound depending on one’s own preference. None of the upgrades are necessary so I’m indifferent on your suggestions that they are. The “Must Do “ is overrated on a perfectly sound and beautiful car. The engineers did a beautiful and masterful job on this generation so there are no must do’s or you have to’s. C6 corvette comes perfect from the factory. They got everything right in my opinion (whatever model) upgrading is a choice and not a dire emergency as what it seems you’re preaching.

I have a black 08 and the first mod i did was the black led side markers. Looks way better and for only $30. My next mod i had no choice, which is some black cray eagle wheels i have on order. I bent my front 2 wheels from a 4x4 wood on the highway.

Leo, I wanted to change my auto Shift knob out, however my shift knb does not have the one set screw. In fact, my shifter can't be the orginal part. Any thoughts?

I am not a fan of the rear wing or the front splitter or the side skirts. I just don't like the look of all that hanging off the edges and they look out of place (bolt on stuff). On my C5 convertible I swapped out the rear tail lights for LED, the side markers for LED, did a paint correction and ceramic coating and upgraded to vented disc brakes with ceramic pads. For the interior, the stock center console arm rest is hard as a rock so I added foam padding a custom 2-tone leather cover. I also had my center console stack the wings on the driver's console painted body color.

I got paint matched ghosted side markers, something else to consider

The stock stereo does suck and these cars should have come standard with a back-up camera. I actually like the M6 shift knob. I don't need the spoilers and splitters and skirts on my Z06. Great video regardless.

If you upgrade the exhaust, you won’t need to upgrade the radio.

I just bought an adapter for my stock radio, works like a dream and the navigation is old but it still gets the job done. The steering wheel is pretty ass so I’ll look into switching it out forsure ✊🏻 also the automatic shift knob since I have an auto as well. Put the rear spoiler, side skeerts and the front lip on but I broke my front lip pulling outta my drive way so I’ll definitely have to replace it soon lol also I upgraded to rear morimotos and smoked side markers as well the none smoked ones. Best decision I’ve made thus far. Overall good mods to have definitely a good video
