Today we're going to be stamping with bleach, stenciling with bleach, writing with it, doing ombré bleach, reverse tie dye bleach -- - so many ways you can transform home decor or clothing! A lot of you have been asking for some more reverse tie-dye ideas as well, so here they are. These hacks and techniques are super easy and fun to do. It's also totally customizable, so you can do whatever designs you want to refashion your old t-shirts, pillow cases, jackets, you name it, into something new, fun and fresh for summer 2021! All of these ideas are quick and easy ways to upcycle your old clothing into something you'll want to wear out all summer long.
For the stencil, I ended up using my Cricut to create my own custom stencil I liked a little better than the one I got on Amazon. I used a black 100% cotton t-shirt, the higher the cotton value, the more the color is going to come out. I used the bleach gel and mixed some corn starch in to create more of a paste to create cleaner lines. Leave the stencil on and let the color develop, then touch up later if you notice any gaps.
TIP from a few viewers :If you dip your bleached shirt into a plastic container of water with 1 cup of peroxide, itll neutralize the bleach. Let it soak for 30 mins
