@@godboy_666 he’s 25 so still maturing. He’s really struggled with doing work that he doesn’t enjoy. There’s an issue between doing what he has to to make money and the absolute stress that puts him under with not enjoying it. But he also became a supervisor at 24 at this job that he hates just because he is amazing with people. He has really amazing interrelationship skills and that’s something that has turned his situation around at work. He’s made friends with everyone so now going to work doesn’t suck so much for him. Always willing to work on himself, go to therapy, read books, ect. He’s a wonderful husband.

Infp here. He probably feels very self conscious about letting you know his feelings for you which he seems to actually like you and then hes not sure if you really like him or just messing. Be honest with him. Infps value honesty and making sense of things.

@Nilsfried I did and he was showing interest again, but we didn't see each other for a while and I guess he heard something about me which changed his view, at first I tought he was fed up with me then I tought he might think I'm just friendly (and surpress his desire) but now it hit me after doing some research on infp anger, that he is probably MAD at me or despises me since he does not care to impress me anymore, is ignoring me, avoiding eye contact and was sarcastically teasing me aswell (seemed like passive aggression in retrospection but not sure). So yeah, fuck me. You INFP's are incredibly hard to read. And that comes from someone who does not have problems usually reading people. I really can't tell what he is thinking or why his behaviours changed, all I know is he keeps discussing shit with my colleagues and it makes me think he's either kind of dumb or mallicious by now.

Yes I did confront him and he (was telling me he did not talk about me with my coworkers but maybe he just wanted to save face, or I'm low key hullucinating and paranoid) he seemed a bit immature and stupid but maybe he was nervous (his personality changes a lot) , also somewhat uncomfortable with my flirting, which in return made me unsure how to act around him (I felt rejected, he said I should not care what anyone thinks and just do my thing at work, of course I would read between the lines), the next day as I walked past him and I lowered my head and avoided his gaze, he was blurting out a greeting calling me by my nickname extremely enthusiastially (kind of immature aswell since I obviously was avoiding him, guys would do better consider the girl state of mind and mood) and I gave him an irritated look (felt so friendzoned) he apollogized and laughed nervously, now he was always greeting me by my nickname but I got CPTSD and switch between being friendly and sometimes duo to adrenaline rush and hypervigilance extremely assertive and (which he interpreted it as me shouting at him (probably did) and rejection, he always gets very nervous and unsure of himself then, I am not conciously pushing him away but sending mixed signals. I do feel bad and like he might think I'm just messing with him. Gotta get a grip on my CPTSD for sure. Regardless of this guy.

The thing is that, with me, once I know someone really well, I feel like I can joke around with them. So, what I said to him was the opposite of how I felt, and it was supposed to be funny because I would never actually say such things. I don’t have his contact information or any mutual friends, so now he’s gone. That was 25 years ago. I’ve learned from this experience that, if I’m going to use irony for humor, it has to be obvious that it’s a joke. Also, I’ll never risk disaster again just to make conversation.

Yes! Your story of love is a very similar reflection of my own. My INFP and I both make each other feel really good about ourselves in a way that is authentic yet amazingly simple somehow. How's it going now

It's still going well but we live about an hour away from each other so tend to see each other on weekends at the moment. Unfortunately she's had to isolate due to covid the past few weeks so haven't seen her in about 3 weeks but talk most days

As an ENFJ male, we aren't forthcoming with our feelings or emotions for the other person unless we're fairly sure it'll be reciprocated. If your ENFJ is spending extra time with you specifically then perhaps he has interest! I'm currently dating an INFP and seriously didnt know she had interest in me until I confessed my feelings haha.

He said he drops his guard down with me, that I'm a good listener, that I am his cheerleader (I always help him feel better whenever he had a bad day), he listens to my opinion, he said no one has ever been like me before because I genuinely am invested in him. 😅 (At first I was just genuinely curious and caring that's why I give him attention. He's very kind to me so I am very kind to him too.) He also plans to call me often everytime he cools down at the gym. 😂 So he confirmed I like him when I got jealous. He asked directly if I'm jealous and I was shocked. I regretted saying anything but I didn't want to look like I was crazy for no reason, so I admitted it. He acted as if it was just natural so I was confused if he understood that meant I like him. 😂 He did understand. But he never said anything about it. No rejection but he seemed happy about it. 🤔 When I got jealous he told me I don't have anything to be jealous about. He made sure I feel better. 😭 It's so unexpected how he handled it. He's just so patient. I expected him to get annoyed at me and run away haha. When I ask him sometimes why he calls, he only says "Idk. I enjoy talking to you." 🥲 I was a bit expressive with my care for him because he is also very expressive with how much he appreciates me for talking to him. He always thanks me for it. He says he's sad when we don't talk. But he still haven't said anything and I'm scared to ask because I don't wanna be hurt rn. I didn't want to like him I tried to deny it to myself at first. But how can i not like him! He's such an amazing person! 🥰 I guess I'm the INFP who is not afraid to tell my feelings but this time I didn't plan to tell him anything, he just already knew. 😂 So I just talk to him as if it's a normal thing to express my feelings. 😏 He doesn't complain about it. He enjoys that I care for him. He's such a good listener too. He accepts me for me. Let's me be myself. I feel really free with him. Sounds to me like the both of you really care about each other! That's great and I think that the chances are in your favor that he feels the same way towards you that you feel towards him. Though, if he does like you like that, then the chances are that he doesn't want to tell you because you told him you don't like relationships and he doesn't want to make you feel uncomfortable or lose you by messing up because he doesn't know if you like him or not. That is so unfortunate. I'm so sorry 😔 Unfortunatel Narcissists tend to think that they have more empathy and compassion then they actually do. They only care about themselves and will never admit that out loud. Even in a test such as Myers Briggs. Another thing to note is that personality types are a tool for us to understand ourselves and others. Not everyone from the same type is going to be the same. Just as there are different of INFPs, there are different types for the other personalities.

Sorry to hear that, I'm an ENFJ, I hate being shallow and I just love deep and meaningful connections so much. So this is a little strange to me to imagine.
