a good "date" for school is just walking around with them during free periods (if you're lucky enough to have those at your school), in between classes, or at lunch. i've done this and it helps you get closer to people easier if you don't have the confidence to ask them out somewhere.

For tip #1, please remember that if your interest is autistic, they might not make much eye contact. It's not that we dislike you, eye contact can be physically painful for us at times. For me personally, eye contact with people I like actually hurts my neck.

This art style is so cute! This is especially difficult for me because I'm Autistic so eye contact was always something I avoided. I'm learning how to make eye contact in casual conversation but whenever I liked someone I would always turn away from them the second they looked back at me. Sooooo, my story...hmm. Okay I've seen this guy regularly in my home town for the past couple of years, and I've finally started talking to him a couple weeks ago. He's really chill, realistic, straightforward, handsome but firm when in depth about topics he likes which can sometimes lead to awkward silence. Anyway, today he asked me if I liked him and I playfully ("seductively") said "idk", he laughed and then told me (I quote) "since you don't know ill tell you that I like you a lot, its gotten to the point where I find myself thinking of you and smiling"...OMGGGGGGGG!!!! i think i read somewhere it kinda matters where you look during a conversation. if you look at their forehead while conversing, you'll seem slightly more dominant and threatening. when you look at their lips, you seem less threatening and more loveable.

I can definitely say that humor does help a lot. Falling for the guy in my life, humor's a big part of it. One thing I've always looked for in a guy is a good balance of humor and seriousness, someone who can make me laugh like no one else can but who I can also have meaningful conversations with. He's checked that box among many others for me.

The girl im in love with already has someone. I heard her say so. As much as i love her, i want her to be happy. I'll just back off and stay friends. I love to make people happy, without expecting anything in return. It seems like I'm always helping others at the expense of my own emotions though. I'm not happy with myself. I'm just lonely. Every girl i take interest in turns out to already have a boyfriend. Although i love this girl, i don't want to come in between them. I'll just have to suffer until i get over it.

There is someone. We've known each other for a long time. And just out of nowhere, she starts opening up to me and I really started to like her too. Didn't think love was close by and since we've been apart I still think about her. Not the best with eye contact but know how important it is. On the chance we finally can see each other, maybe we can find somewhere for the first date with dim lighting? We've had our smiling moments over the years, even if I don't do it that much. Random hugs, awkwardly bumping each into each other that we *almost* kiss one time, me brushing my shoulder on hers while moving slightly closer, I think we're good on the contact. I can be silly at times too. I'm sure I can think of something funny.

@@sports12t I have seen her and we've talked now that our social gathering is back for what's left of the school year. And on Valentine's Day I called her again. I was so nervous I got the warm fuzzies. But I asked her. Even though we're from different cities but still close, we were valentines and I after a long time she's now my girlfriend. We've only held hands once after hanging out in our weekly social gathering at the high school I graduated from. She's still nervous about kissing but she did tell me how red she was when I called that day when I was flirting with her.
