Guys, if you think you like someone and you know they like you back just confess to them yourself pls. I'm saying this cause of an incident. So I was in grade 8, there was a girl I saw in that class and I fell in love with her. She didn't loved me at first but slowly she started to love me as well. We both used to sit at different seats in class but we never felt like that. I'm sure she loved me because we used to stare at each other like half of the time. I know it might sound creepy for some people but it really isn't. It was like when she first looked at me I looked away. 2nd time when I try to look at her right after 2-3 seconds she looked at me back and I looked away again. It happened a few times but at the end I decided to not look away when she looks at me and I did. She didn't moved her sight away. The funny part is that she was so insterested in me when I asked 'What?' by raising my eyebrows she just copied me and looked away. I was sure she loved me and I still don't know why I didn't confess.So, it was the last day of school and a bit snow was there on road. Our bus driver drove the bus really carefully as the road wasn't in good condition. When I reached school I decided I'll confess to her. I couldn't say it in front of her so I wrote it in paper. I remember the exact lines. I said "Hi, I love you a lot. I know you love me too I think it's time I confess my feelings. Do you love me?". I gave it to her in last period and told her to read it in her bus not here. She looked extremely happy and just said 'Thanks I was waiting for it for so long'. It was like she knew what was written. When she went into that bus and she read it in her bus only when the bus was still parked in school and was about to leave. She asked the driver that she forgot to refill her water bottle so she'll go and she came to my bus saying "I do feel the same way, I love you too" to me from outside my bus window. I asked her to talk to me on phone and I was really happy. It was the happiest day of my life or that's what I thought. I hope she never went in that bus. Before that bus could drop her at her house it got into an accident due to snow. It's been almost 3 years since then and I still miss her. I just wish I could've reversed time and asked her to read it earlier and not in that bus. I still am not in any relationship since then. I was really depressed when I heard about her bus. I felt like giving up my life but then I thought of my parents and just cried for almost an year. I hope she loves me too and wherever she is I just wanted to say her in person that I love her and not through letter cause I never said I love you too to her in person, just sent a letter. So, guys it's my humble request to pls confess to someone if you really love them and you think they love you back. My parents changed my school after that cause they didn't want to see me depressed. I think once you get rejected a few times, it hurts less and less. I've never been rejected until I got older. Yes, it stung, but it made me reflect on myself. I realized that there was nothing wrong with me and that the person just simply wasn't for me. I've made changes so that I can be happy on my own and I've learned to not rely on others for happiness. Story time! So I have been talking to this one girl who I really like. She inevitably told me she liked me too. Funny thing is she did it and she showed all these signs. Just because someone is afraid of rejection (she later told me she was afraid to tell me) doesn't mean that you have to change anything about the way you talk or do things. I just talked to her like I usually did. I was going to tell her at school but she told me first. I really love her... Anyways moral is: don't think that you have to be different to impress anyone. This is literally me. I'm a shy guy whose ever only been in one relationship, which unfortunately ended and I know deep down it was mainly my fault that her feelings faltered. I'm pretty sure no one will ever read this comment, but Sir Slap's only piece of advice to anyone who seriously likes someone, is to just tell them. Even if you're afraid of rejection, it's better to tell them than to not. Even if they reject you, you at least know. A couple of years ago (pre-covid), Sir Slap really liked this one girl a lot in high school. He loved her so much that he got anxiety and bipolar depression over fear of embarrassing himself in front of her, being rejected, or being made fun of (Sir Slap was not the most popular kid in school, and sometimes got bullied). This, coupled with problems at school and home, constantly tore at Sir Slap. Every time he would see her, he would tell himself, "I'll tell her next time". He never did, he was never able to overcome his fear. And day by day, his bipolar depression would get worse, making him the fool he feared to be in front of her, and a gloomy person that everyone avoided the other half of the day. And just when Sir Slap got the courage to tell her, to try to reach out to her, it was too late. She had moved, God knows where, and with no way for Sir Slap to contact her; she would never be seen in his life again. This shook Sir Slap, and caused him to have constant panic attacks, thoughts, and attempts at suicide, coupled with his already bad conditions at school and home. He eventually got diagnosed with Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy and would never see her again; she was out of his life, and he would never get that chance back, his mind still plagued with thoughts of her, panic attacks, and constant breakdowns to this day. Please don't end up like me.

The pulling away and letting them come to you thing works. I have been seeing someone who pulled away every time I was too interested, so I stopped contacting her altogether, and now she contacts me several times a day. If someone really likes you and has fear of abandonment, then sometimes it's a good idea to let them like you on their own terms. When they feel safe with you, they will open up more and want to see you. I used to get anxious when she didn't write back right away, but now I just do something else and the hours fly by, and we're both closer for it.

Beside all wonderful script and content, I just find the animations just very lovely. The animation kind of remind me that we all human being are all genuinely sweet and loving beings from our hearts. Only issue is that our expression depends on how other person perceive us. If they perceive us lovingly, we show our wonderful nature or vice versa in other senerio. If we treat everyone with love and respect regardless of their skin color, ethinicity etc, we can make the current world much better and liveable for everyone around us.

Fear of rejection is caused by many things, Being too nervous or being unsure about yourself, growing up alone or being in a toxic relationship. Just being scared or being body shamed, not having friends in the past or a friend that never cared for you.

It sucks when you've had instances of past rejections that make it even harder to try and initiate a relationship with someone in future, platonic or romantic. I've always had trouble connecting with others or not being open enough, but when I try to, I get called annoying or that I am "too much" for the other party. It really makes it that much harder to even wanna straight up say "I like you" to someone because even if they're showing reciprocating feelings, there is still that sense of doubt in the back of your mind. It really makes it hard to want to even commit to any form of a relationship when there's that constant anxiety that they're just gonna end up leaving or pushing you away :(c

This was always me the first few years of high school, I didn’t ask my crush out for 3 years because I thought there was no way she would possibly wanna go out with me. We were friends but that’s it. One day drunk at a party, I don’t even remember this but she told me what happened, I told her how I felt, and the next day she told me what I’d said and that she thought it was sweet but she couldn’t figure out why I didn’t just tell her. I told her I felt like she was too far out of my league, and she told me that’s a stupid concept, and that she liked me for me, not what I looked like. We agreed we would try it out, and we’re still together 3 years later. I don’t drink anymore, but I’ll always be thankful for alcohol because of that moment, cause I would’ve probably never asked without being drunk, and I’m in a way better place now
