If I'm being honest here, it depends more on the person's personality. Some are shy and some are outgoing. It's a matter of the personality of that person to fully determine how they will approach someone. Because we are all different there's no fixed way to know if someone likes you for certain. There are some commonalities but even at that, it is not enough to prove that someone likes you more than a friend. That is all I'll say feel free to agree or disagree LOL

I'm usually maintaining eye contact when I speak to someone. This is the way I've been taught to respect the other person. I've never thought of it as showing affecting and didn't expect to be seen as misleading as I've thought it is courtesy. Should I avoid doing that? I'm a male btw.

My friend dragged it out throughout 5 months and didn't let it go, until me and my friends finally blocked him permanently. I'm aromantic and I don't enjoy it when people have feelings for me, therefore I don't enjoy getting confessions. Especially from my friends.

Honestly my bestie has been acting like that for 10 years since middle school, I can tell she likes me cuz she does get jelly every time I mentioned hanging out with someone else in a friendly platonic way, she gets really jelly about it and I always think it's cute how she wants me to see her as the only bestie to hangout with, even when it comes to my siblings 😂

I have a really good female friend, we talk to each other a lot, and try to find ways to meet as often as we can. And while I do feel the chemistry between us, I rather stay friends with her. I have 2 really depressing years behind me, and I'm not really looking for a relationship after what happened to me. I like her as just a really good friend.

What if my friend is very touchy with me but mostly when I'm sad or hurt, hugging me, comforting me, rubbing my shoulders and back, resting her head against mine or against my shoulder or chest, letting me rest my head on her chest, etc. Other times it's mainly just poking and tickling all over. She doesn't really ever text me, whether because she's busy or just forgets. We have hundreds of "inside jokes", every single day for that matter. She also tells me about her personal feelings and problems, which she doesn't do with anyone else. I really like this girl, but she gives off mixed signals, and every time I bring up the topic, she says "I don't know" mostly, or if I were to ask her if she likes me, she'd say no. I don't know if she's being honest or is just shy, but I don't want to pry into her personal life or overwhelm her or anything
