6 Simple Christmas Cards | Stampin Up Snowflake Wishes
Let’s talk about non-traditional Christmas colors today! Traditional Christmas colors are red and green. However, there are so many other colors out there that you can use to create beautiful Christmas cards. And I have 6 different Christmas card ideas to share featuring some non-traditional colors.
The cards in this video feature the new Stampin Up Snowflake Wishes Bundle and the beautiful Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper. It’s the designer paper that inspired me to create a variety of Christmas Cards in non-traditional colors!
By the end of this video, you will have 6 different simple Christmas Cards you can create with ANY patterned papers you have on hand. You could also use these card layouts to create cards for any occasion. Just get creative with it!

Hi Lynn! Happy to see you again with these WONDERFUL Simple but Lovely Christmas cards! I LOVE THE SNOWFLAKE WISHES Suite and your designs show off the pretty DSP! :-) The purple shades are unique and also so pretty w/the blues in the DSP n’ CS!! I LOVE THE SNOWFLAKE DIES to add just a simple but perfect embellishment, of course with the gems! :-) I can also see these designs w/some of SU’s Autumn DSPs, too! Just adding in Leaves instead of snowflakes, n’ Voila, FALL GREETINGS! Thank you so much for these many varied layouts. I KNOW I’ll be using the layouts for both Autumn n’ Holiday greetings! HAPPY STAMPIN’ n’ CREATIN’! ENJOY YOUR DAY! Sending SMILES from Madison, WI!! :-))))))

These are some of my favorite cards! I love the Snowflake Splendor product suite. Well, anything with snowflakes always grabs my attention :) But I think it's the non-traditional colors that grabbed my attention this time. Have fun getting creative! The color schemes are so dreamy, they definitely make you feel in the mood of sitting in front of a fireplace with a cup of hot cocoa watching the snow coming down from the bay window. Thanks for the inspiration

Thanks for your creative videos! I’m taking a poll of you famous SU papercrafters/videographers to help me decide how to replace my 12 year old SLOW, cantankerous laptop. I’m planning to do SU videos, and would really appreciate your recommendations for Mac vs PC, desktop vs laptop, Switcher Studio vs Ecamm or OCS., etc. I have an iPhone XS and an iPad Pro, so I want to be able to use multiple cameras along with the computer. I’m old and really need a big screen and a detachable keyboard so I’m worried about getting a laptop... recommendations? Pros, cons, anything? Thanks so much!

Hi Kelley, congrats on your decision to do videos! I use a mac simply because I like the iMovie app. iMovie is the easiest video editing software and it's free on a Mac. Plus I shoot all of my videos on my iPhone so having a Mac making the transfer process from my phone to computer a breeze. I had a regular PC for videos but it was too tedious to do the editing. I would not recommend a laptop simply because there is not much storage space on there for video files. I have also found that it takes twice as long for me to upload videos on KZfaq from my laptop. Hope that helps!

I'm normally a traditionalist for Christmas Cards and use Reds or Greens. I've branched out to Pool Party this year....and love it!

Hi from The Netherlands! Blues have been used for a few years now for Christmas cards here and I don't know if "here" is just The Netherlands or Europe as a whole. What adhesive did you use for the 1st card and others to adhere the snowflakes? Glue dots? I immediately fell in love with the Snowflake Splendor Suite ... But, for some reason, the Suite couldn't be ordered in July, so I ordered as much as I could and later decided to order the entire Suite. It is soooo beautiful!

Yes, glue dots work very well for adhering the snowflakes. This is such a beautiful suite of products. Have fun with it!

Just wondering why you disabled to video download option. I like looking at the videos later and able to stop and start as I make cards.

Hi Cindy, I haven't disabled any of the features. I am wondering if KZfaq changed their basic video template and I didn't notice it. I will check it out. Thank you for letting me know.
