Brother BJP is a NOTA party in Tamil Nadu.All BJP will lose deposit in the LS seats including Pondicherry. Odisha look grim. BJP may get only 10 seats out of the last 14 or 17 seats it contested . Maharashtra and Bihar - honour goes equally between NDA and the opposition.No cakewalk in Gujarat and may loose two seats. 68 seats in UP, Rajasthan may lose 7 seats, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh - big zero, J&K out of the 5 seats in three valley seats in Kashmir BJP is not contesting - Till last. week Uttampur in Jammu LS seat was a cake walk for BJP. Last minute entry of one Lal Singh, a turncoat from BJP to congres has damaged the prospects for the BJP, Punjab a Big zero for BJP. Delhi free bus travel for women folks and Arrest of the Delhi CM - the opposition has an evaluated upper hand. Not to undermine the vote share off the Congress - almost equals BJP, MP Congress has equal strength+ India alliance vote share. So BJP tally may not cross 160 + Letter Pad alliance partner, Except Chandra Bubu Naidu, I have no idea of the letter parties contribution . There is something called anti-incumbency for a decade long party, Pulwama type encounter not there, Ram temple inauguration has taken a back seat- ofcourse still has a sway in the Hindi Heartland . But Puri Jagannath temple would put a speed breaker beyond - like the Southern Peninsula States solidarity is with Lord Venkateshwara, Palani Muruga and Lord Ayyappa. So my mind says that 27 BJP candidates announced in the official candidates politely said " no I'm not contesting the LS elections .". Do you see any Modi wave this time ❓. U may have a better answer. Even Elon Musk smelled the" govt change " quietly called off the proposed 20 -30 billion $ investment till the next government takes over. Hitler's propaganda machinary only worked only for 10 years and suddenly vanished in thin air. If Modi can win.all the 543 seats - why huge new parliament building was constructed. All the 543 MP'S may meet at RSS Hqrs Nagpur and decide the fate of 25 milion minorities - the worlds largest party - not filing a single Muslim candidate for LS polls shows the hollowness of the party's mindset.

Factors that matter: 1: Muslims don’t feel their religion is in danger or even Modi is not inclined to do any damage to them so the enthusiasm for opposition is sedate. Opposition’s fear mongering lacks traction so even if Muslims vote for opposition alone that pitch to vote in unison against Mr. Modi has less emphasis. 2: A large section of people who don’t like Modi feels it is better to be neutral than choosing somebody who is not worthy. Even with all fault-lines (as per their perception) Mr. Modi is by far the best choice. 3: The overcooking done by congress and co in social media makes them look like fools. The opposition is failing in reading the pulse of the nation as their narrative building and propaganda doesn’t seem to be authentic at all though they have become very active which at least puts them at par with BJP. 4: The undercurrent is strong for Mr. Modi where the state governments are from opposition so the actual fight is Mr. Modi Vs The states ruled by opposition or even friendly coalition parties. 5: Apart from activists or political agents the general public doesn’t see any measure gain in getting an opposition elected as people don’t really value the promises congress is making. In a way Mr. Modi has reached out to most from the general public who perennially remains anti-establishment ( government) so the sentiments against Mr. Modi is almost diminishing. 6: The measure voting class namely, the deprived class prefers safety to being adventurous, Mr. Modi has all the aces here as well. 7: Barring a few like AK, MB or TY very few in opposition have the gumption to go for slogging it out on streets. There is a feeling that opposition has left it completely for destiny and some way the smaller parties have resigned to their fate. 8:Congress must come out from its corporate culture that its governing body decision will be vouched by public. In the era of BJP ‘s juggernaut it must considers to press the reset button. When you are fledging company, the owner/management need to be in shop floor or in war room 24/7, this is the starting point for congress. Every regional party congress is aligning with as secular can ditch them any moment. Congress’s revival is possible but under RG the answer to it is bla bla bla without any substance. 9: The only state where their Is semblance of challenge is Bihar, BJP need to do some heavy lifting over there.

400 may not become a reality...but, the point to note is INDI Alliance partners face ant-incumbency much more than the BJP. BJP retains its strongholds like Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh. Even if a couple of states swing away from BJP a few others swing towards BJP in time to get the tally up. I think Karnataka, West Bengal, Orrisa and Himachal Pradesh may swing in favour of BJP while Maharashtra, to some extent Bihar and Haryana swing away from it.

Every election we hear about poor voter turnout in urban areas. Part of the problem is people move away for career and studies. Is it not possible to seek online confirmation of voters two months before elections. There could be two options: "Available and voting" and " Temporarily away and unable to vote". This is a good narrative by the opposition. And as they say, the devil is in the details. You can figure out for yourself - irrespective of which govt is in the centre, the same situation has to be there. Suppose, use of "defence part" of the terminal (very important - nothing of critical / secure infrastructure was allowed) was not permitted, then the entire load of dignitaries (of overseas also- not only India) would have come on the "civil part" of the terminal. What would be the image of our country which boasts of high level of digitalisation? Alternatively, all the guests would have had to pass through Ahmedabad or Vadodara - followed by road trip. What would be the disruption? And what for? So, the practical solution - open the defence part of the terminal to handle the additional traffic. None of this has anything to do with whether you support BJP or Congress, and whether you like Ambani or dispice him. Purely operational reasoning
