As a guy who failed his first run somewhat mediocre, and the second run was better, but still not all good, I wanna say this: it's more important to aim towards being a safe driver, rather than "will I pass?". You may as well forget the latter, and try to be ready to take the hit at the end. I actually wanted to fail even on my second go, not as in "I'm just gonna go, fuck it", but as in "I hope my examiner will be as nitpicky as possible", since I heard about one learner who passed on the first go or so, I'll explain: The learner's test centre was next to a school or playschool (or nursery?), and as he was going down a road and closing in on an intersection or something, a red ball came from the left or right, and he suddenly stopped. The examiner was like "why did ya stop?" and a second later, a child ran from the said direction. The examiner said "we're going back, the test is over", and he passed, just like that. That story is exactly why I wanted to have a tiny chance of passing my test.

"move your head but stay focused on the road" how?????????? It's impossible to focus on the road ahead and turn your head at the same time. Driving tests should directly depend on if you crash/almost crash or not don't worry about my head

Can someone tell me if they successfully were able to get a redo on anything they know they screwed up? I'm just doubtful it's possible since I feel like most instructors just want to get the whole thing over with and not want to extend the time further than expected.
