Curious where you guys live in Colorado? We live in Denver proper now but are thinking of making the trek to the suburbs due to our growing family. KC Valley has been at the top of list but we’re thinking of checking out Castle Pines!

Hey James! We live on the Southside of the metro area near Southeast Aurora and Parker. Castle Pines and Castle Rock are both really great places. Let us know if you have any other questions!

Thanks guys. The zip code 80108 is the same as a part of Castle rock. Are these 2 separate cities with different governing bodies? Do they have separate school systems? TIA.

Some parts of Parker, Castle Pines, and Castle Rock share 80108. Different cities, but all under Douglas County which means they all share the same school system as well.

Hey I'm moving to Colorado from Jersey channel islands uk with my wife next year. You guys seem to know your stuff. We are late 30s like nightlife bars etc and scenery no children don't really want a massive commute need to be within distance of a finance centre preferably. We are from a tiny island so nothing too hectic where would you suggest we live?

First off, we appreciate you watching the channel! That's awesome to hear you're headed out this way. Two places come to mind. Lone Tree would be one of them. It houses the huge Charles Schwab campus and has plenty of restaurants and bars in the Park Meadows area. It's a more low-key version of downtown. If you're wanting to live closer to downtown, you may want to check out the Highlands Area. It's just a few minutes outside of downtown Denver, has a pretty laid back vibe, and plenty of great restaurants. Killer. views of downtown too. Hope this helps! Let us know if you have any other questions at all.

@@livingindenverpropertybros Thank you kindly for getting back to me. I have one more question sorry for not knowing this as things are slightly different in the uk. If I were to put a $200k down with a household income of approx $100k what size mortgage would I be looking at ? Regards Fraser

@@fraserdejavoo Ask as many questions as you want! No worries at all, that's what we're here for. There are a lot of variables when it comes down to purchasing a house, but a $200k downpayment is going to help bring that payment down quite a bit. I can give you an example, but keep in mind there are a lot of other factors that go into it. If you were to purchase a $600,000 home and put $200,000 down, you'd be looking at a payment of approximately $2,930 per month. That would include the principal, interest, taxes, and insurance at an interest rate of 3.5%. There are some other factors that are to be included like credit, debt to income ratios, etc.. Hope this helps! Let us know if you have any more questions. If you'd like some more specifics as far as a payment goes, I'd suggest talking to our lender who does an AMAZING job at walking people through all these scenarios.
