Nicely explained. Liked it. Maybe a short clips of video may be more useful. Never thought of cleaning chimney filters and fridge trays. But a full size glass fridge tray may not fit in a dish washer. After seeing your video I got an idea 💡. Why not the brass gas stove burners and my little collection of ceramic toys?

Hi Dinesh, thank you :) Oh chimney filters clean beautifully. I'll create a short video about the fridge tray. It will fit at an angle in the bottom compartment. May not be able to put all of them together, but one every wash. You can pile it on top of your vessels.

Hi! Thank you so much :) Bosch does have a few models of 14 place setting but they are out of stock (amzn.to/3uHsIJb and amzn.to/3hquRFu). 12 place setting may be a bit small for a family of 5. You may need to run the dishwasher more often if you buy 12 place setting. Now coming to wooden and non-stick - these should not be washed in a dishwasher. Everything else - you can consider washing in any of the dishwashers. Make sure you keep the plastics in the upper tray so it does not receive much heat.

Hi Sandeep, thank you for the feedback! Not sure if you have seen this video where I compare the top dishwasher models in India kzfaq.info/get/bejne/b6uTra9isrO6fZc.html For a 10+ family, I recommend going for one with the maximum place setting - 14 or 15. For a family of 10, you may need to run multiple cycles through the day or may need to consider a commercial dishwasher - I have not looked into that aspect yet. LG and Faber are the newer technologies in the market. I use the Faber 14 place setting - it is very good and not have seen any issues. One of our viewers uses the LG and has said it is very good with some issues at times around heating and cycle resetting if there is a power reset. Bosch is used by my family, no issues - but has a slightly lower place setting of 13. Regarding hindi - maybe its something I have to get more comfortable speaking in 😊 I can speak but not yet fluently on camera. Thanks for the suggestion!

Haha I can imagine the relief. But try doing it in a delicate cycle with lower heat as heat can damage the lego. Infact I think lego does not recommend it.

Hi Vivian, thanks for writing in. It depends on your requirements actually. Faber is a more newer technology than Bosch as well - but at the end of the day, the basic technology within the dishwashers are relatively same. Hi Saumya, I have a small kitchen and a regular dishwasher can't fit it. I don't have a utility area either, hence, I am planning to purchase Faber FFSD 6PR 8S Ace Inox Table Top 8 Place Setting Dishwasher as it would fit under the kitchen sink or on the slab. Do you recommend I go for this or make provision for a large one by removing the double sink and replacing it with a single one? I have a family of 4, 3 adults and a 6 year old.

Hi Bryan, given your constraints - you can go for an 8 place setting dishwasher but you may need to run it more than once a day (perhaps 3 times in 2 days). Washing quality will be the same as a full sized. The Faber 8 place dishwasher takes about 2.5 hours in auto mode. (Its the same with voltas beko too btw)

Hi! Normally aluminium vessels should not be used as it can get pitted. For the filter - it should be OK, especially if it has an enamel coating.

Having used dishwashers for 10+ years and although I like the idea of cleaning keys, I wouldn't recommend it due to extreme temperature from dishwashers even if keys are steel. One small angle deviation or dent in the key could lead to risk issues on the locker side. Even if you want the keys in the dishwasher, it should be placed inside the cutlery basket. Using lubricants like a WD40 spray is better to maintain keys considering grease factor. Ask any service technician and he/she may not recommend washing keys.

Hi Mohan! You may be one of the oldest users of dishwashers in India then 😊 True - items such as these should be kept secure in the cutlery tray or rack. It’s just another unusual thing you can wash. Perhaps occasionally for a deep clean 😊

Hi Saumya..I am a regular viewer of your channel..I am using a lg dishwasher since last June..everything was good but recently I noticed scratches in my plain glass utensils..some even turned cloudy...I most often use fortune detergents and sometimes Finnish tablets..can you just help me in this?

Hi Parinita, hmm that’s strange about the scratches on your glass. The clouding could be due to less salt - try adding salt (even if you haven’t gotten your salt indicator). Regarding scratches - first time I heard it but on further research- it apparently happens due to detergent and heat. Try using the delicate glass program for your glassware once and see if it fixes the issue. I most often use finish tablets - only once tried Crystale but was not happy with performance. Finish (although expensive) gives me best results.

5:36 The middle key is coated with some plastic which is common. And you'll see such plastic in many spoons, as well as in some lids for holding. Are these all safe to use in the dishwasher? I mean the spoon/lid would still be of steel but their top is coated with some form of plastic, they'll get damaged right?

Hi Aseem - it’s a calculated risk - if you are unaware if it is dishwasher safe. How I approach it is - if i’m unaware if it is dishwasher safe or not - if it is not touching the food we eat and I can keep it in the top rack - I could take that risk. So that applies to handles and keys. But I don’t have any of those anyway.

Hi Radha - Ebonite is made of rubber (hardened by heat). So when you expose it to hot water, it breaks the bonds. Hence Ebonite should not be exposed to hot water and hence is not advisable to put that in the dishwasher. Copper plated utensils are OK but do get discolored in the dishwasher. If you are OK with that, you can put it in the dishwasher.

Hi Kashinath, no silver unfortunately gets discolored in a dishwasher. The best hack I have found is to put baking soda and aluminium foil in boiling water and leave your silverware in it for 5-10 minutes. After that scrub with dish washing soap like vim or toothpaste and store.

Hi Murugan! Unfortunately not. Heat, water and detergent may cause cracks. Better to check with manufacturers of the wet grinder also once

Hi Suvarna, if it is marked as dishwasher safe - you can put it in the dishwasher. But the dishwasher does not sterilise. So you may need to sterilise that separately after wash.

These are not unusual. You need to level up. Talk to my mom and you would be surprised what all see keep in the dishwasher. Here are few 1. Water bottles 2. Stove burners 3. Dustbins, dust pans 4. Metal home decors 5. Comb Rest I am leaving to your imagination.
