5 young black men being able to debate so many issues and still be able to see other people's opinions

The guy who did the shooting was previously convicted of attempted murder and did about 3 years. He is on parole for beating an ex girlfriend with a mini sledgehammer. In short he was a violent person before this happened. The problem is that people like him should be in prison but keep getting let out to commit further violence because DA's and judges are super soft on crime.

This little girl will be forever traumatized by this experience. No child, of any race, should EVER be at risk of being shot or attacked just because they were outside playing, doing what children are supposed to do. This actually just happened a few days ago. It happened just because she went to get her ball that went in his yard. It is sad that things like this happens. I've been shot and stabbed multiple times and I feel this little girls pain. You can tell just by looking at her eyes she barely even sleeps.

The young lad who was shot by the man at the door was even covered in the UK. However, this story was not covered here. This is the first time I've heard of this.

Anyone who assaults, harms, or kills a child deserves every kind of repercussion. She'll probably have nightmares for a long time to come, emotional trauma, and anxiety for life. Not just her attack scarring her physically, and emotionally, but, to witness the attempted murder of her Daddy....just horrible!! I pray for her Dad's healing, and full recovery, and emotional recooperation. I'm sure he probably thought she was going to die. All over a &$!#@*% basketball rolling in the yard!!!😡😡😡😡

This is very true because it happened in my area of Charlotte NC. I believe this is only being talked about because the little girl is 6 years old. We never hear about the guys and girls that are getting shot in the hood. We need to pray for each other and start loving each other because violence is never the answer. This guy was influenced by demons to shoot a family then drive all the way to FL and turned himself in. Thank you guys for talking about things that a lot of young men ignore!

The crazy part is that little girl kept saying why would you shoot a little girl’s dad? She’s more worried about her dad and she even has her self. It’s very sweet for her to be that compassionate but very sad that this guy is still on the run and obviously doesn’t have any self-control.

Thanks for your honesty and integrity gentlemen from an old white man who worked construction all my life along side honest hard working black and brown men, never had a moments trouble with them because l worked as hard as they did. Stand strong young men, keep telling like it is. Those black men taught me reinforced steel and concrete finishing because I was eager to learn and become more indispensable so I wouldn’t get laid off during the winter they took me under their wing when I was in my early 20’s.

I hope every one takes what I have to say to heart. EVERY time a crime is committed against a person of a different race it is made into a racial incident. I was watching CBS morning with Gayle King and when running the story about the black kid shot for being at the wrong house they showed his picture and made it a point to say he was black and the shooter was white. I thought we are smart enough to know he is black because you are showing his picture. They (Gayle King) and CBS clearly are making this a race issue. I was surprised they ran the story about the white girl getting shot but they did. However the word WHITE was never brought up. This suggests to me that they do not want to make this a race issue but want to make the white guy shooting the black teen a race issue. Very hypocritical to say the least.

You are correct in that we do not know the motivation of the shooting of the little girl but I believe officer Tatum's point is we don't know whether was race or not in the other case but the news media is more than happy to say it's definitely racism but in the case of little girl they refuse to say it's racism

First of all, I love that you guys even delve into these topics. As you continue on this journey, I believe that you will see that this is an intentional push to separate people in this country and it was planned long ago. A divided country is easier to control!
