Pro tip: if you buy ANYTHING to make content like an adobe subscription or a webcam, save the receipts and write it off on your taxes to recoup the costs. Even if you don't spend any money on creating content, you can still write off certain expenses on your taxes, such as the percentage of the internet you use to do your content projects. Save money people!

This is an incredible tip! I’ve spent money this year on a new camera, gear, and subscriptions. I need to start writing it off on my taxes. 😅

2:00 Stats like this are crazy. We tend to get caught in a bubble where we only look at the big channels we follow and it seems like everyone is successful and things are oversaturated. However, when you zoom out and look at the bigger picture, you realize there's a ton of room for quality creators
@thejovontorres

You're right! There's so much potential for quality creators on KZfaq. We get stuck in our niches on KZfaq and don't realize how massive KZfaq is, how fast it's continuing to grow, and the opportunity available to us.

Thank you for this great comment! Making content is a journey. You're going to make lots of mistakes but also learn in the process. But don't give up even when it’s difficult, no one watches your videos, or you feel like you’re wasting your time uploading videos. Imagine how much better you’ll be next year or a few years from now when you really get good at KZfaq. Keep going my friend! 🫡

great points and good stats in the beginning here nice way to hook the viewer. Gonna try to apply #6 to my channel giving my own unique perspective on things more see how that goes. some I would do is watch for the music to not be too loud in the beginning and talk a bit slower or edit visualizers showing what you are trying to say for the slow people like me 😅 had to go back a couple of times. Just some constructive criticism

I always appreciate your feedback. I didn’t realize the music was too loud until I exported and uploaded it to KZfaq. 😤 Also, I could do a better job on my visualizer/b roll edits. Definitely still working to improve my videos and editing (getting lazy with them 😩) to save time. Thanks again bro. 🫡

@@thejovontorres ah yes it happens lol. But no problem. I’d say it definetly is worth it though to put in the extra time to keep the viewer hooked it will bring your overall view duration up and the watch hours could come faster just for that little bit of extra time, once you upload it you get to sit back and wait for the extra views/watchtime to come in.
@thejovontorres

Definitely agree that extra effort and time will pay off leading to more viewers/subscribers and watch time.

My biggest issue is I procrastinate making content. 😭
@thejovontorres
@thejovontorres 2 ай бұрын
I struggle with that, too, at times. I believe it comes down to not having enough content ideas and then not knowing the subject well enough to talk about it effortlessly. I’m working on another resource for my subscribers to help them with procrastinating. Keep an eye out for it when I announce it in the Community posts. Keep creating content. It gets easier. 🫡

I have over 1,000 subscribers within a couple of weeks, but what holds me back is the viewers in KZfaq shorts are literally insane! I'm getting literally 10,000 and 20,000 viewers each video And still increasing, so what's the big deal? Ideas! KZfaq is pushing out my channel more and everything is happening way too fast! Which slows down the amounts I upload videos on KZfaq shorts, It's leaving me. Just confused about how many subscribers and viewers I'm getting even though people do the same content And don't get as much as I do.
@thejovontorres
@thejovontorres Ай бұрын
Congrats on the success of your channel! You're getting lots of views on your Shorts, which is helping your channel grow fast. But you're not getting many views on your longer videos to hit the 4000 hours of watch time for the KZfaq Partner Program. You can try to get partnered with 1000 subscribers and reaching 10 million Shorts views in 90 days, but that seems very challenging. What's your ultimate goal on KZfaq? Do you want to keep making the same content (Gacha and ceiling fan Shorts)? How will you make money from KZfaq if you don't reach KZfaq Partnership?
