That price can be brought down a fair bit. Don't need carbon ceramic brakes for a daily driver and the sports exhaust isn't necessary if you're going to change it anyway.

As a rs3 owner please take my advice, don't replace it with the rs3 .. RS3 like the 8V (like the model in your video) they got some brake issues.. the cooling is a problem. just got mine at the dealer for another set of brakes --' it's the 3rd set in 15k km's. Would prefer to stay at the a45 amg .. the gearshifting is amazing, but after a 5k km's i had problems with the brakes. But it's your money, so it's your choice :-)

The Best choice for daily, choose the most important things eg. Matrix led, virtual cocpit, bang&olufsen and saved money spend on ecu tune, removing speed limiter and proper steal breaks instead of ceramic which is in my opinion useless in daily for track you have r8.

I wasn’t expecting you to give this verdict over the A45. I think the Audi Sport line up is great and worth getting into for a daily and supercar lineup. I adore my 2016 TTRS the sound of the exhaust always puts a smile on my face

I specced an RS3 yesterday almost identical to the one you drove but without the design package, roof rails, ceramic brakes, limiter removal and bang & olufsen, it ended up at 50k. That's not bad at all I think.

RS3 looks more mature than the A45, I mean if you want to be more subtle about your daily, it's a good option.

The A45 is a highly strung 2.0 fartbox, the audi is the best in its class, simple as that. The 5pot is unbeatable and so is the outright speed / acceleration. The RS3 sounds way better, has better tuning capabilities and interior comfort is incomparable.

Definitely an upgrade from the A45. You shoud buy this and after a while you can fit it with a TTE625 turbo, stage 2 ecu remap, stage 1 s-tronic remap, wagner intercooler, iPE exhaust and an intake and you will have a 650+ bhp daily driver.

I had the last RS3 2015 version and sold it after 6 months for an RS6 . . mainly due to the fact I secretly heard that a saloon was coming out and it was the optimum time as people were still clamoring for the last one . . and this is a biggy . . because the gearbox in my RS3 had issues which in the end failed . . interested to note that the gearbox is new one as is the 400BHP engine . . saloon for me now as I loved my RS4 saloon . .

Archie, mate, before you ditch the a45, could I suggest you ditch the rebellion tune and go for something like Renntech, and also add in a pedalbox like the one from DTE systems. These things shorten the throttle response and make the a45 feel less lazy. The a45 as it is feels stupid lazy the way it is, I don't know why they release it like this. Flip your tune, add a pedalbox, see how you feel with it then. On another note, the rs3 interior has nothing on the a45. The a45 is an experience everytime. The rs3 with its raised up and squared off dash is just bleh.

you can get stage 3 remap for free if you buy a Revo 2.0 TSI EA888 Transverse K04 Turbocharger, put a high flow intake, turbo back exaust system, uprated intercooler and spark plugs, even uprated fuel pump and its a even bigger animal, get it trust

get rs3 defo g , you can keep it like that, and matte black it out and be able to peal it off anytime its nice and you can get good results from remap and exaust

Once more, the USA is denied the Sportback/Avant option. Sucks for us. I think the Sportback looks cooler and is more practical.

There is a performance kit option on this car. Looks insane, lot of carbon spoiler and so on.
