it’s so easy to forget Danny is 78. Then He just goes “ do u guys have any cookies🙂” randomly in the middle of a podcast that shit was so wholesome

The guys have worked with this man for about 15 years, and yet they still look at him with stars in their eyes. The love and respect for him is so palpable.

Imagine you’re just hanging out at home and all of a sudden Danny DeVito knocks on your door.

I really love the first season, but the addition of DeVito is one of the best moves in television history.

Look how excited Danny gets when they talk about going back to work. It must be a lot of fun just to actually create sunny.

One of the best things about the show is just watching Danny devito's facial expressions in random scenes where he doesn't even have lines

What amazes me about Danny is that despite his age, his comedy feels very fresh. He may not be using the lingo and all that, but he just jumped on a podcast with people 35 years younger than him and he was mixing it up. And what he was saying was funny, interesting, and didn't feel out of touch. He gets it.

It feels so strange hearing Charlie sound so smart and intelligent.

I love that Danny opens with “when do we get back to work?!” and how excited and enthusiastic he still is

I love how Danny is probably the only human on earth who can get those three to shut up and listen for long periods of time without trying to do bits. Great episode!

I think what I love most about Always Sunny is the fact that they write these filthy, vile characters who do deranged, hilarious stuff, but whenever we see them offscreen they're such sweet guys. Rob clearly adores Kaitlin, Danny is so caring, it's just so lovely to see.

I met Danny about 15 years ago at a theater I worked at in Hollywood. Before I got into watching Always Sunny. He was a fantastic guy. Very friendly.

Man, I'm a huge fan of Danny DeVito, not just as an actor but as a human being, I could sit there for hours listening to his stories.

I’ve heard only nice things said about Danny. The scene when he’s watching Mac dance and he gets it is beautiful. I think his unexpectedly touching moments are my favourite.

Devito’s personality is so warm and friendly. Even if he wasn’t famous, he’d be the guy at the party that everyone wants to talk to.

Something Danny really brings to the show is his "background" acting. When that gang is doing some weird shit, singing a song etc. just watch him - often playing along "pretending" he's been part of the joke for years, but clearly not knowing what's actually happening. It's really brilliantly done, and it's got it just be his instincts as a great actor

Frank Reynolds is one of the greatest characters ever created and no one could have elevated it to the level that Danny did.
